WOW! this will be worth every dollar! Please put out a HUGE announcement when you guys are ready with the N55 engine updates. I will be purchasing this soon as it comes out.

Say good bye to having to take the engine bay apart just to go in for service! I love this!

Some one help!
It's a flash the safest and the smoothest way to go, this tune gained 73 whp with just a tune on a stock car, jb3/4 is just a boost controller, I would go with vishnu procede v5 basic if you want to save a little cash and get a great tune.

Is that hard to get it over the problem? so is that a no go for me to get the accessPORT now and wait for the 07 spec update?

07 models now guys!! Reminds me of the good old suby days. Question, how will the data logging and code checking/clearing be in comparison to the Bavtech scanner?

There we go! Taking the 135 and the 335 you posted, the average comes out to 71whp/98 tq on 93 octane -- Seems solid.

Now would it be fair to say in 6 months from now, after you guys see much more results, and map tweaks that those numbers SHOULD be higher?

^ Nice gains. A little more octane adds hella tq. What's the peak boost exactly? I see it's ~14psi.

Speak for yourself, that's half the fun in modding. I have a Procede in my xDrive and there is no gear, RPM, or speed where it doesn't pull.

That I think is the heart of what COBB is selling - a tuner package; not a reflash or piggy back software. I bought a superchips flashpaq for my 2005 JGC 5.7 and that thing is faster than the 2011 JGC in every aspect. The NA motor went from "fun" to "holy $hit". Difference is that Flashpaq cost me $300 from a Jeep vendor. Granted that a BMW would have more complexities than Mopar, but $895 is a pricey meatball.

Edit: just watched the video. Nice choice in Major Tom.

Danny, is boost going to fluctuate from car to car? Or how does that work... If that car went to 15 psi.. then that would be about another 20-25 whp?

I have used COBB's AccessPort on my 05 WRX STi since 05. I had COBB dyno tune my car last year as well. I can say that the AccessPort works great just as advertised.

I do have a question for COBB about the Dyno they used here. Was it your Mustang 4 wheel dyne, or are these numbers at the crank? The Mustang Dyno's give very low numbers.

What happens in the event of 'DME Bricking' during flashing?

Unlikely, perhaps, but I work in IT and have to flash certain devices from time to time, routers, phones, BIOS' etc -- they work most of the time, but occasionally it'll go wrong and the device becomes pretty much null & void.

The last thing I'd want is a bricked BMW DME.

A quick Google search yields some threads from STI owners who managed to brick their ECU. Is this something we need to worry about?
