As of right now v2 seems amazing but with time the competitors will release updates/new products that will be similar if not better.

v2 will start finding its ways into customers cars in the next few weeks. This beta process will go on as long as it needs to ensure that non beta folks perform the update with no issues whatsoever. I think this is pretty reasonable, no?

Sometimes the problem with actual developing new things is that you can't rely on other companies to do the beta testing for you

My question was never answered. If I place an order now(with an exhaust), will I get the v.2 or not?

Which is probably the reason why the XEDE v2 wont be around for some time still... and even then, it will be a completely new box.

v2 is an update that can be performed by the user once it is fully beta tested. For now, all kits are shipping out with v1 (v1.45 to be exact) and will continue to do so until v2 is ready for prime time. Still some work to do but things are coming along nicely.

I'm assuming, that the v2 will come with all upgraded wires and what not?

Btw, does anyone have your exhaust in Socal? Is it loud? I'm only looking at the exhaust for performance reasons, not really a fan of the modded exhaust sound(unless it's just deeper/not noticeable)

He answered it in the original post!

"It will not be officially released with new PROcede orders for some time. Those who are already running a PROcede will be first to get behind the wheel of v2."

I'm assuming your Beta testers are your customers?

As for other companies relying on each other for beta testing or developing new things. I think thats what makes the world turn. If ChipTorq didnt take the time/money to develop and make the Xede, then Haltech wouldn't have been able to create their own interceptor. I can also guarantee that Haltech in one way or another used ChipTorq's Xede product as a building block. (this thought can go the other way around)

Either way, right now you have the spot light with your v2 stats. And with any forum as you probably know. The users tend to be bias, they all follow one another and do not try to experiment with new products or Different products. This is why I give props to Terry. And its a shame that no one acknowledges RD sport for their Speed Limiter Defeat before Procede had it. Or for AA to give out free map switches.

As with everything, theres a rise and theres a fall. I would like to see how quiet this forum gets once another tuner makes more or similar amount of power as your product. Just like it did when AA xede dyno's hit the forum.

Stock, we have say:

V1.45 + Exhaust we have:
330hp/3600lbs = 0.09167
This same ratio goes for all XEDE equiped cars as well...

Now we have V2.0 + Exhaust:
376hp/3600lbs = 0.10444

A Stock M5 makes 430hp @ wheels with stock Charcoal Filters in tact.
So 430/4000lbs = 0.1075.

According to this same drivetrain loss, the E92M3 will make about 414hp or 356hp @ the wheels. It weighs a hefty 1655kg or 3648lbs despite early reports that it weighs less.
So we have 356hp/3648lbs = 0.0976

Here's my prediction for how these cars do in a straight line (ON AVERAGE)....

Stock 335i = 0-60 in 4.9, 1/4 mi in 13.3 @ 104
XEDE/Procede <1.5) = 0-60 in 4.5, 1/4 in 12.8 @ 109
E92 M3 = 0-60 in 4.4, 1/4 mi in 12.5 @ 111
Procede 2.0 = 0-60 in 4.4, 1/4 mi in 12.5 @ 113
Current M5 = 0-60 in 4.3, 1/4 mi in 12.3 @ 116

Procede 2.0 w/LSD = 0-60 in 4.3, 1/4 mi in 12.3 @ 115

Very good assumption.. Caculation is very close. I dont think 335i need lsd cause they already have DTC .. Dynamic Tracktion Control> however, it will be needing Stage 2 Cluth pack n Brake system to match with procede 2.0..

Fast Speed = Good Cluth Pack.. Maybe double side clutch.... Stage 2

Just curious, since you Dyno'd your car with v2 and exhaust, does that mean you are using an exhaust specific map whereas someone with v2 and stock exhaust would have to use a different map and in turn, make slightly less power?

Great gains either way.

to get off the line good, even a stock car needs an LSD to get better traction.

hell, I just have a cat back exhust, no tune and I burn up these Toyos all the way through 2nd..... One tire at a time of course.....

An LSD will transform this car off the line and out of the corners.

I dont think the LSD with v2.0 is going to add 2 mph trap speed over a non-LSD v2.0. If anything, it may be less if the car hooks better than it was without the LSD. Then again, LSD might not even be necessary (at least from a drag racing standpoint) if more cars can hook as well as maxboost did and run a 1.6x 60foot.

Quick question (not trying to light off a flame war, it's just a question):

332rwhp seems a little low for the 1.45 with the m6, new exhaust, and 93 octane. Shouldn't it be making closer to 350rwhp?

I know he made 355rwhp/405rwtq with the PROcede v1 and the stage 1 exhaust map with his early prototype exhaust on 93 octane. I am not sure of the power differences of the stage 0 v1.45 map and the stage 1 map. 23 hp seems like a lot, but i am not sure if they were same dynos, but of course different days. But even so, the difference between 1.45 and the V2.0 PROcede is pretty substantial looking at the delta in the first post of this thread (42 hp more)

This is the old dyno sheet

Bias as in you & Terry trying to torpedo every Vishnu thread on the board ?

I swear if Terry stops moving your head will go halfway up his A*s.

If you don't like Vishnu's product or him. Fine, then just ignore the thread & don't buy his product. As for your assertion that nobody gives credit to AA, are you even looking at this board ? There are plenty of AA Xede threads with back patting.

As for rises & falls, it seems Vishnu has been at the forefront of development for this platform. They have been the first outfit to release a piggyback unit to the general 335 market, and it took AA months to follow, now they are issuing a product improved version, and I'm sure in a few months after that they will have a "me-too" follower.

I have no idea what possesses some people to try and bad mouth a vendor that has done nothing but develop this platform. I can give props to Vishnu, just as I can give props to AA, & props to RD Sports or Eurobahn. There always has to be hater in the group.

Interesting. So maybe the new update is really worth around 15-20rwhp?
