What are the differences between stock and linear throttle? And what (if any) are the advantages on an AT car? Thx

In my personal experience, stock throttle is much more livable on a 6AT, however linear is MUCH easier for control purposes on a 6MT.

That was my general impression as well. Seems like the MT guys are the ones that like the linear throttle.

Yup I do NOT like stock throttle. Linear is much easier to drive with a 6mt.

Linear throttle is where it's at for me as well. 6MT.

No one running the Stage 2 + FMIC v4.00 ST feels like the acceleration plateaus at 5k-7k RPM?

This tune feels like it runs out of poop around 5k...

I think it feels like a plateaus because it's hitting higher boost in the mid-range and then the same amount of boost up top as the LT. This makes it feel like a plateaus when it really isn't.

Noo thats too much powerrrrr lol. My poor transmission....

I want to get it dialed in around 440-450 whp with the incoming RBs and sustain it as long as possible to 6500 RPM on pump gas. Will make for a FUN daily driver. Can always bump it to a proper all-out race map for glory runs occasionally.

heh, my car feels WOT at 25% throttle on the ST maps! Take it to the drag strip and you'll see you're making plenty of power

lol no problems on the pump map with the AT , you are right at the power stock turbos do on meth.
I run stage 3 with jb4 on top with meth and the car is brutal with 1-2 psi over. Looking forward to cobb race map i should get this week :-)

I use ST these days on my 6AT and the only letdown above 5000 rpm is that the stock turbos run out of steam...

I would like to see more 1+ and 2+ logs. From the ones that I have seen, timing is dropping around 4,300.

i have noticed that the first pulls gives drops but the more you drive it and adapt it they do go away. Seems people load the maps , especially now since they are new , and log. there is adaptation time to be done even with a flash.
Also 1 cylinder dropping doesnt say much. people should log ALL cylinders and put them in the log.

I have logged all cylinders and seen drops that are completely random (in that area). My next step is to drop to the 1+ drive map while running 93 octane. I will give it a couple days and see just how clean it looks.

I have been making logs right after switching maps and the car is just warmed up.

Do you know if there is some sort of system ID process WRT timing that is ongoing? Even in v301 I would get a pattern repeated every so often of the DME pulling timing, not even under load. It repeats, seems random. Like it is testing timing vs emissions or something in each cylinder. I guess is this a part of the adaptation process or is this always happening is what I am asking.
