Got an update a couple days ago, looks like these will be arriving at our door step on either the 24th or the 27th depending on customs!

Don't get me wrong, I love my HPF intercooler, but wish I could have bought one of these a year ago instead.

Props to VRSF for charging a reasonable price instead of the what the market will bear pricing, or twice as much cause it is for a BMW instead of a Honda.

Quality products at reasonable prices will win my purchases in the future for sure!

You won't have to wait if you're purchasing on the 31st. They'll be in stock and will ship same day

That one will be as bolt on as the stock intercooler. I personally prefer the removal of the stock connectors since they're an obvious restriction and almost every intercooler on the market (ETS, AMS, Helix) removes the stock connectors as well. The removal of the stock connectors are completely reversible in case the car is put back to stock & 100% worth the 20 minutes it takes to remove/reinstall.
Good to hear, I think it could be a more of a success than the 7". Like some have said, most here are not tracking our cars and with that some are okay not getting the absolute best grand daddy of an intercooler if it is affordable. I have a problem spending over 600 dollars for a heatsink because I like my money.
Any good news pertaining to the 5" FMIC?

Doesnt look like the main horziontal bar has been touched so your okay. The bottom row fins dont gef direct airflow so minor loss there. If you want to be 100% safe do a pressure test.

has anyone had trouble getting the lower passenger side clamp on? Its simply already too tight to fit over it with the clamp loosened. I also tried opening the clamp completely and put the piping into the coupler and then tried to put the clamp on. No luck, it wont close because it cant reach. The only solution i see is a larger clamp, but it's weird cause the other 3 went on no problems. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Mine also went on with no issues although I had a shop do the install so I can't really comment. He didn't mention anything though and said the whole install went very smooth.

The t-bolts come in two different sizes. The intercooler side uses the larger clamps, car side uses the shorter. Seems like you mixed them up somewhere

I just installed mine yesterday and did notice that the t-bolts were 2 different sizes during test fit. It's a nice bump in power going from the cobb stage 1 to stage 1+. I thought I would have enough time to get my DP's on yesterday but didn't. Install was fairly easy.

I still want a VRSF intercooler... I am holding out for the 5inch since I dont wanna cut. But the 7 still is tempting. Would give me a reason to upgrade to RB turbos later..
