Help with EC-7 ET31
These cars look fantastic and I need a little help to get mine to the same place. I've got a 2008 335 XI and I'm curious if anyone has the EC-7 in 18x9 ET 31 on all four corners. If so, can you comment whether you can fit 245/40/18 Pilot Super Sports or Continental Extreme DW without rubbing, rolling or adding negative camber.
My other option if going square is to run 235/40/18 at all four corners, but I want MORE rubber if possible. Thanks for the help. |

Waiting to buy 18in ps7 with the following offsets (group buy)
18x8.5†et35, 18x9.5†et33 David, do you mind answering a few questions. What size tires do you recommend? Will I have to get some spacers for them to be flush? My car is lowered on swift spec-r springs. Open to suggestions. Thanks -John

Thanks for the help - 1 final question
David, Thanks for the help.
My final question regarding the 2008 335 xi fitment is: If I get the 9" EC-7 ET 31, can I use 245/35/18 at all four corners without pulling the alignment pin up front. I really wanted to go the 245/40 because one individual (who will remain nameless so I'm not in the dog house) has a tendency to curb my wheels, but not her owns (taller profile). That said, if the 245/35s work, that may be my best choice for a square set-up with profile #2. Tires will be PSS or Continental Extreme DWs. |

I'm debating new wheels. Torn on 18 vs 17. I love the beef/meat look I'm seeing with the 17's. I also have a brand new set of BFG Comp 2 G Force 235/40/17 in my garage on my stockers.
I have KW V3 with camber plates so I could adjust the ride to fit proper. Suggestions on arc-8 specs for n aggressive look? E90 pre lci.... PM price shipped to 95628? |

I actually like the arc-8s better than the ec7s the more i look at it lol...wish arc would come out with an 18x9 et32 or so so i can get these. 18x9 et32 and 18x10 et32 would be such a perfect setup for me =).
would definitely get these right now if that were the case lol.

David, I thought I asked my last questions, but I was wrong. It's down to:
(A) 245/40/18 Pilot Super Sports on EC-7s in 8.5" ET 35, or (B) 255/35/18 Pilot Super Sports on EC-7s in 9" ET 31. Are you saying both fit on the stock 2008 335 xi suspension without rolling, pulling alignment pin, etc? If I drop the car with Dinan spings (about 0.5" lower) next summer, would I still be OK on both wheel sizes? |

Thought I'd share this pic I took last weekend. Specs are 18x9 ET31 245 / 18x10 ET43 275. Love these Apex EC-7s

Thanks for the help guys. Does anyone know if the 255/35 pilot super sport is "stretched" on the 9" ET 31 wheel? While the stretch is cool, that's not the look I want and I certainly don't want anyone curbing my new wheels... Thanks again!

Do you have any pics of a profile 3 setup at all four corners on a pre-lci e90 Non-M?
Don't care if it's a 18 or 19" setup.

Stock suspension Arc-8 Hyperblack 18x9.5" et 35 square 235/40/18 PSS Front 5 mm spacer to clear the strut Coated with Opti-coat 2.0 Love the rims. Scott Front sticks out maybe 1-2 mm more than I want with the 5 mm spacer, will likely look for a 3 mm spacer Rear is pretty flush Next spring will get springs to lower a bit. |
