looks awful. Like Pat Shaughnessey with his gold VIP-Modular DTM B7. Whole crew should stick to VW IMHO.

Would you like it better if it wasn't as low?

Personally I just don't get how you can drive it, I just don't understand. I've never been a fan of those style rims but thats just me, I just like the clean OEM's (certain styles) I feel like a different color of the car and just a little bit less low would make it look great. but none the less I can certainly appreciate all the work that went into it.

I'm not sure what you a referring to. Is this in regard to the height and ground clearance?

Yes. And its not really your car im talking about. lots of people have it that way. I just don't get how that whole setup works. How does the wheels not rub? What would happen at a pothole? How can you go over a speed bump?

I'm not sure how some of the extremely low e90s and e92s get around, some of them are pretty insane on coilovers with very heigh spring rates. In the case of our project car, it's completely adjustable on the fly with air springs. - I explained how it works here -

for the preset ride heights, did you wire into the factory level sensors on the control arms for the xenons, or add additional ride height sensors?

or does it go off of pressure?

We added what's know as the e-Level system. We connected one new sensor on each corner. They're quite similar to the factory xenon height sensors.

This car was corner balanced at a specific height, and this is the height it was aligned at as well. I typically verify the air spring pressures with the digital read-out that we have installed in the car. This way I can be sure that the system is right where I want it to be with the two front corners pushing downward equally at ~36PSI per air spring.

Not my thing at all, but I completely respect OP for being very tasteful and cool with his responses to some potentially inflammatory posts, and for doing his own thing and staying true to his vision. Much respect brother.

Since a lot of people have been PM'ing me about them, here's a photo of the Bag Riders Air Struts featuring BC Racing dampers and Goodyear air springs (these air springs were designed here the USA at Air Lift Company).

I love it! I'm planning on ordering air for my 335i in July.

But I can't decide if I like the 18s or if 19s would look better..

You can't go wrong either way. The only thing I can say for 18s is if you want to roll really low, they allow for the best steering range (assuming you run a slightly stretched tire) while keeping the bumpers close to the ground.
