pretty sure there's never been a 42mm sub.. i could be wrong though

for a 42mm sports watch, you'd have to look at the Explorer II or the 44mm DSSD

OK thanks, interesting but makes sense. Have searched the net and could find very little but a guy a work claimed he had one.

Will have to go the Deep Sea. Need a bigger watch....I'm 6' 5".

I got this watch over the summer. It was my fathers

18k Gold Rolex Day Date President Watch Champagne

I haven't worn it yet though. Don't trust myself with it yet.

watch winder

How many who own a submariner use a watch winder at night? I am looking at a Wolf Roadster single winder with storage, it looks pretty nice but costs $450. any suggestions?

i don't because of hacking & quick date set function.. takes at most 2 minutes to set the correct time .. you'll get varied opinions on why they're good and why they're not worth it..

personally, i would only use one on a watch with some crazy perpetual calendar because those are a pain in the ass to set once they stop

I currently have 4 autos and 1 more being made and don't use a winder. Find it easy enough to reset when I need to.

Why, they have 48 hours or so before they run down, so long as you don't fall into a coma 8 hours of sleep isn't going to make any difference.

I am partial to Orbita winders. Orbita has excellent customer service and is a US company based in Wilmington, NC.

I have a 4 watch in-safe Orbita winder that I have 2 submariners, a Daytona, and JLC on. The Daytona and a Sub are 18k, and are heavy watches, which weigh on the motors, no problems over my 5 years of ownership.

I have a Orbita as well. Picked it up from their online outlet store this summer and love it. I own a sub and SMP and leave one on the winder all the time with no issues. I would highly recommend them.
