Sounds great! Why did you decide to go with Magnaflow high flow cats rather than RR or UR high flow cats?

Congrats on finally getting the sound you wanted!

Well I dont know it feels the same. I cant really say If i had performance hit or not.

Im just saying because I put back a restriction. But hey look at some of the people with custom maps running DP's on tuned 335i's.

Thanks a lot.

Im not sure only way to figure out which high flow cat flows better is doing a flow bench on them.

would a muffler shop be able to make SR pipes comparable to those by eisenhaus? what kinda options are out there for secondary cat deletes? i'll most likely get UR high flow downpipes

Sure I dont see the problem why they couldnt. Its just stainless steel, but I cant say it would sound the same. Theres nothing really special to SR pipes that I saw other than the shininess. Just get a muffler shop to bend 2.5 inch stainless steel piping for you and put a X pipe in the mid pipe. Then clamp on section 3 of whatever exhaust you get to that.

another quick question would it be better performance wise to run a cat in the SR pipe where the secondary cat used to be or to run a high flow cat ont he DP.

wow shocked at how horrible the eisenmann exhaust sounds like crap.....whoever says it sounds good has no clue what an exhaust sounds like...it had a rattling sound i thought that was the best one....sure is expensive enough....shit though 5 exhausts funny thing is the one from vq motoring puts out the highest HP you should have waited!!!!!! damn sounds like you one impatient person 5 exhausts car has only been out 1 year damn!!!!! i think you needed some better research....the others though didn't sound half as bad as the eisenmann though...it looks so good but sounds soooo bad...i don't even know why they came out with it with all the complaints i have seen on here....well i guess looking the best really means nada!!!!! sounds like more R&D was needed from them!!!! the vq motoring one sounds sweet though and awesome hp gains with the grupp m rep intake..i think they are pullin 30whp(just catback exhaust and intake) with the 2 incredible in combo form....the exhaust was built to work with the intake for a perfect match!!!! i can't wait for the pics of the non-prototype...they are making cosmetic mods to the prototype as we speak apparently pics real soon!!!!!!

Did you listen to the new clip with the SR pipes and catted downpipes at all? The "rattling sound" was from his catless downpipes that cause a lot of rasp. Run almost any inline or V6 without any cats/resonators, turbo or not, and you will get a nasty rasp. If you have a loud exhaust it will just magnify it. I think he fixed the problem pretty well. The eisenmann race with catted downpipes sounds good IMO. With that said, I think i'm going with a full Meisterchaft system.

BTW, what exactly do you think they do to have an exhaust system work with an aftermarket intake as you said, because I really have no idea how it would be any different then designing an exhaust to work with the stock intake.

They have it for the E90 too - check the eisenhaus website. I think it's $100 more though.
