I bought a set of ARC-8s in the group buy that just passed. Wheels haven’t shipped yet. Is it possible to get the red center caps instead of the black ones with my order?

Thanks for the post and for participating in the group buy! The red center caps are available for pre-order, but at the moment we wouldn't be able to substitute them for the black caps. We hope to be able to offer this option in the future but we don't have a set ETA just yet.

I have a 2010 335i with the sports suspension. Looking to go for a 18" non-staggered set. Can you let me know what is the recommended size for the wheels/tires to be flush with the fenders without any rubbing?

Thanks for the post! On the LCI sedan, we recommend the 18x9" ET30 square fitment with 255/35-18 tires. This is a direct fit and doesn't require any modifications. This setup fits very flush in the front, but may need a 5mm spacer in the rear if you want it sitting just right.

We don't have a set date just yet, but we'll be sure to post an update when we launch the next 17" group buy.

And since I'm here, might as well post a pic. Lol.

Apex ARC-8 with Ohlins R&T.
18x9 et30, 245/40 PSS (5mm spacer to clear coilovers)
18x9.5 et35, 265
Apex Bullet Nose studs. Don't mind the different rear stud/lugs. The bullet nose studs will be on soon due to an order mishap.

Bours,

Thank you for the comments! We are excited to help you sort out the best fitment for your E90 LCI. We would recommend the following square fitment for your application since you do have an xDrive E90:

18" Square:
F/R: 18x9" ET30 - Profile 3 - 255/35-18

You will not need any spacers to aid in clearance to your KW V1 with this setup.

As joeinsd stated, our 18" Group Buy did just close about 3 weeks ago. Unfortunately we do not have any other 18" group buys planned at this time.

With this square fitment you will notice improvements in handling, braking and ride comfort over stock. This is due in large part to the lighter wheel and tire package. This is unsprung weight that has a dramatic effect on vehicle dynamics when compared to sprung weight.

If you have any further questions, feel free to send us a PM!

Thanks for the reply! The 265 rear may help with traction in the rear if the car is making significantly more power in stock, but would require a fender roll on LCI cars in order to prevent rubbing.

Yep, staggered would be the way to go. You can use the 18x9" ET30 (concave) up front, but if light weight and lower resistance is the priority, you can use the 18x8.5" ET38 (flat face) with a 235/40-18 as well, which is also a direct fit with no modifications required.

For straight line acceleration, a staggered fitment lets you fit just a bit more tire in the rear to gain extra traction. However, with xDrive you must maintain equal rolling diameters front to rear.

With a square fitment, this makes it easy since all wheels & tires will be the same size.

In your case, we'd recommend a square set of 18x9" ET31 with 255/35-18 tires. This will be a direct fit with no modification required, and provide plenty of straight line grip, as well as improve cornering when you need it. With the staggered set, in order to maintain proper rolling diameters, you'd need to downsize to downsize to a 235/40-18 front and upsize the rear to a 265/35-18, which may require rolled fenders.

Hope this helps!

So I just discovered this from Apex's signature. It's worth checking out, if you're wondering about fitment suggestions. Thought I'd post it since I see lots of the same questions posted over and over. I understand some may have additional questions, but this is a good start!
