what audio do you have ? if it's the middle tier hifi start with a jl xd600 amp with a technic harness (Google it) to replace the factory amp.

speakers i have morel hybrid ovation 4" these have got to be the best speakers I have heard ever!. got them from the states not sure where you'd get them here, or if you can.

I have sws8 underseat subs they are ok but they do struggle due to the confined space. if i could do it again I'd probably get jehnert mid bass drivers and a dedicated boot sub.

Yep I got hifi. Are the morel 4s a plug and play for the doors? What about tweeters? What amp would work best?

speakers are easy diy. underseat subs are easy diy (helps having a second set of hands to hold the seat up while you put them in)

amp is easy if you buy the technic harness plug and play.

overall I'd say it'll be much easier then the work involved to do your two tone interior.

https://technicpnp.com/product/hifi-harness/ there is another amp they recommend also on there

No I mean't like, what about bavsounds kit, i wasn't saying no to them lol

The xd600 6 channel is only 600 watt? Wouldn't you want something muuuch more juicier if you chuck in a trunk woofer?

So replace the underseat woofers with midbass drivers, just open up the case and pop the new speaker in right?...

Then grab a new amp and hook it in with the harness, but how would you go about hooking in a new monoblock + woofer?

Does the seperate amp hook up to the first amp?

Chuck this in the well under the boot carpet :P

yes straight replacement if you buy the correct ones (some need adapters -these are cheap)

if you're adding a sub probably best to get a sound processor so you can fine tune the whole system. otherwise you could probably get away with using a y adaptor and then using the low pass filter on the monoblock to make sure the sub only gets bass. pretty sure you'll still need a balanced input amp though

Does the Wattage of the subwoofer determine how much bass it produces?

Found a nice pdf on this!
http://www.billswebspace.com/BMW%20e...%20-%20PDF.pdf

Seems easy enough! For an additional sub just tap the inputs into the rear speaker wire, then hook up the amp and plug the amp into the battery. Easy peasey lemon squeezy!
I got a question but, from amp to battery you need a fuse? What kind of fuse?
