9 or .40 shield?

9 Shield. It was recommended by a handful of friends as my first, and I really enjoy it. It's great for concealed, and is actually a pretty good shot for such a small frame. At first it was a little quirky, but once the front sights were adjusted right, I was really surprised, and happy with the purchase. Definitely going to expand. Got some mags, hallows, reloads, and Apex trigger kit on the way so excited to get it installed and see the difference.

What's in your stock that you really like?

What's with the "no XYZ" censorship anyway? Nobody should be shamed for anything that's 100% legal, unless it's a man listening to a Justin Bieber CD or a heavyset woman (or man) showing off a new g-string.

Well, I think there was a time where someone was posting some lewd and lascivious hand drawn pictographs and it went on for some time unscathed, but there were people on here adamantly against firearm owners and them showing off their defense tools, and also seeing that they were in their country, they made it a rule that it was offensive since pansies had a fit. Kind of how most things end up in the judicial system of America. Thus why I live in Seychelles.


At least that's my guess. I don't really know.

I'll PM you the most recent family portrait. I used to carry the Shield 9. But i've switched to a G19. For me, it's 97% as concealable and 95% as comfortable as the shield but it carries 7 more rounds and the extra width of the grip makes it more accurate for me when shooting under duress.

Pretty close. We had several dedicated firearm threads in the OT and after much begging, there was a Firearms sub-forum created. When that happened, 2 members started posting in there and causing trouble by bitching about the existence of a firearms sub-forum. To quell the arguing, the admins deleted the firearm sub-forum, all firearm related threads, and all firearm related pictures in this thread. Ironic that the of the two members who started all the fuss, one doesn't post here anymore and the other, the main instigator, has been perma-banned.

Please do. I really liked the G19, but shooting that as my first, was a little intimidating. I loved the gun as a whole, real easy to load the mags by finger and was very accurate, just too new to have any idea what I was looking for.
