No back up camera in the 09 335....uggh. Had to buy one from Bimmertech and install it. Even worse, there is like a 3 second delay from when I put it in R to when I see it on the screen. It enrages me, daily. FML

When I hit R and look to my backup camera, there's a message that distracts me for 3 seconds. It says to not let the system distract me.

The porsche event is tomorrow (autocross, slalom, hot-lapping), and I really want my wife to experience the 991. She said she'll attend but doesn't plan on taking a car out. I'm just concerned her attitude towards cars has changed totally since having our son, she said she's a soccer and hockey mom now.

Why do they have to play any music? If you want music, use your phone and earbuds. Leave everyone else in peace. I hate being forced to listen to music I don't like, and in America, that happens in just about every public area. Our local supermarket plays horrifying 70's crap all the time. You can't go shopping without being subjected to the Bee Gees or Abba or some other disco disaster. Drives me nuts.

I just blew out my kid's front tire by possibly over-inflating it. That's $3.88 I'll never get back (wth it's just an inner tube, dollarhollah didn't have it), so I told him you ride it flat for a month, there are kids in the world who have square wheels on their bikes.

We used to have to ride uphill, both ways, in the snow, with flat front AND rear tires, with the younger brother on the front handle bars, while the T-Rex chased us thru the mosquitos.

And what happened? You learned the value of a dollar, it built your character. Kids have it way too easy nowadays. Feel entitled to ride a bike with the proper tire pressure, brakes should work, tires should roll smoothly and effortlessly. My son tells me daddy you shoulda used the hand pump, not the compressor, now my front tire is blown. Are you kidding me? He's not even 3 and still has training wheels, and he's mouthing off already!

Spare the rod and spoil the child.

Not whip them into cowering submission, a few well-placed swats and the voice works from there on out.

I didn't park the M6 properly last night so when I tried to back out the i8 there wasn't ample room to turn without risk of damage to the X5 and the 328d. I had to pull the i8 back in, start the M6 and run through the cold start cycle THEN move it back into place. After it was in place I was able to move the i8 freely.

To top it all off, my normal barista wasn't at Sbux this morning and my americano was too cool. I had to send it back for a remake. I knew that the rest of the day would be crap after this horrendous start.

They don't get it. We had alligators AND snakes to go with the mosquitos and T-Rex's. Oh...and all of our phones had CORDS on them. The horror!!!

Heatwave in Belgium !
I just came back home from work at midnight , and drank during 12 work hours 4 liters of Evian water .
It was today 32° Celsius and for friday the Belgian weather predition is 34° !
Is this tropical Belgium ?

Good thing of the situation is that the Belgian F1 Grand-Prix (SPA) from next Sunday will be driven in a temp. from 28° and without rain => http://www.msn.com/nl-nl/weer/vandaa...92943299999999

Dang...And I'm still thirsty !
