A lot brighter.
I need to get some leds for the inner ones too.
Look funny with blue xenon and yellow inner ones.

Bigger stuff (windshield cowl, then shocks and struts!) this afternoon and tomorrow!
FWIW I sort of got the driver's side mirror to lock into correct spot. Now afraid to mess with them to fidget with the passenger side!
Went on from here to R&R power steering reservoir and refill it with the good stuff!

Then on to the big project on my 330i: New bouncy bits all around! Needed them bad, the old ones were blown out bad. New springs and both upper and lower perch mounts. Tomorrow I move to the front end!

Yea H7. Those cost a bit more than I’d like to spend on it.
These are more in my price range.

H7 LED Bulb, CAR ROVER 50W 10000Lumens Extremely Bright 6000K CSP Chips Conversion Kit, Halogen Replacement https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HQBWR5F...ing=UTF8&psc=1

I used them before and they were good.
I found out a while ago that D1S led bulbs for xenons are made. I’ll probably try some out.

The low profile and good track record is what has me attracted to it. I've run car rover before and have zero issues. In fact my current D1S might even be from them, though I can't remember for certain. I had some H1s from them that I gave to a friend, they lasted about a year. I'm hoping the "get what you pay for" will come out with the ones I listed. Too much of a pain imo to have to replace the bulbs each year lol

Any chance you'd part ways with those saddle front sports seats? I've been searching for years! Thought maybe as they're not in a car I should ask.

Went to go change the oil and my Daytona 3 ton low-profile jack couldn't lift the car up.

I guess, it's out of hydraulic fluid?

And finished! It took all day, but got the new struts in! Went with Koni Actives and stock (sport) springs. Figured that would split the difference for daily driving and occasionally throwing it into the corners. New perches, top mount, and sway bar links while I was in there. Really should have done control arms as well, but I blew my budget on the struts/springs. My T30 bit broke while I was trying to get the control arm pivot back on, but luckily I could get it back on and tightened down. Other than that, no real drama, just a tough job doing it in the driveway with hand tools.

Bought from Chris at Strutmonkey.com and happy with the process. No drama and everything included and assembled which is what I was aiming for. I see he was banned from here previously, so don't know any back story.

Yup, the jack would go all the up without any weight on it.

When I tried jacking the car up, it would hardly pump the car up.

Under bumper/splash shield was damaged by the previous owner - looks like they drove over a parking block, then backed up, tearing the bumper from the splash shield.

I removed it over the weekend and went at it with a heat gun and some blocks of wood. All in all, given my complete lack of experience or knowing what I was doing, I'm happy with the results. As bad as it was, it wasn't very noticeable because the car is so low.

After the fix, the remaining deformities are very hard to notice.

Don't know if I should be worried or...

Last time I had this white stuff was when I flushed the coolant in the summer.

I had the coolant flushed again back in December since the coolant flange was leaking.

Just noticed the white stuff yesterday when I went to change the oil
