The bucking occurred in 3rd gear at 5000-5500 rpm.
4th gear only goes to 120mph in the auto's? I think it goes to the 130-140 range on the manuals if i'm not mistaken.

I believe that will depend on if you have their FMIC or not. I dont believe I will see much difference in IAT's from 70-85 degree weather w/ this huge intercooler, so boost shouldnt change much either.

I dont know but TTurbobullet cant send my Attache without them okaying it so it is starting to get a bit old....

I have been trying to get this thing for like 3 weeks, all of which they have had my CC# but now that it is ready they are out of town

Sorry for the Rant I just really want this tune....

If I dont hear anything by monday morning about shipping I am probably going to cancel my order.....

I understand your dismay but they havent charged you for the unit yet. Its not like they don't want the sale and are purposely avoiding you, I have told you in PM multiple times they are in a very remote area of the country in the mountains with no cell phone coverage working at a mini meet. I have a bunch of logistical things I need to talk with them about as well. They are coming back this weekend and should be open for business as usual on monday, Helix prides themselves on their customer service, but logistically they havent been able to provide that for the last few days. Knowing all of this information, these repeated posts are painting an unfair picture of Eric and Ralph, don't you think?

I dont mean to be painting that picture at all. I was simply stating the way I felt, I appoligize if it came across that way.

When Ralph is at the shop he is always more than happy to talk to me about the progress and give me an update. This last week has been rough since, as you said, they have been in a remote part of the country and out of reach.

I look forward to hearing from them this weekend and having my unit shipped out saturday/monday. Thanks for the work you have done......

I hope no one gets the wrong impression of thier customer service based on this last week.....

TTurboBullett: can you answer the previous questions? Thanks
I answered your questions in a PM to you, did you recieve it?

as far as the 2 issues we are tackling right now:

1) 2 cars are throwing a code upon wide open decel, both cars have forge valves.*possible hardware issue*-end users are asked to retry stock valves and different springs and report back as we make no dme manipulations upon decel so no DTC should be thrown.

2) 2 cars running west coast 91 octane shell gasoline are exhibiting dtc at 5500-redline area.*possible tune issue brought on by variances in fuel quality or ethanol(oxygenate) content as compared to east coast 91 octane test mixture. -end users will get revised maps to run and are also asked to try a different brand of gasoline and report back.

as the tuner I need to sift through the data I am given and compare it to my other current no problem tunes in the field that are running perfectly and make the necessary changes in the maps I feel will eliminate the issues on a specific basis. I have been tuning for a large # of years and have a very good grasp of not only engine management but also the hardware and software we use. We are currently one of if not the only tuner tuning for specific mods and octane levels. we are striving for perfect driveability and performance for all of these maps but rely on end user data to do so. So far everyone has been great in this process and while it can get hectic I really enjoy the challenge of tuning, but damn there are a hell of alot of variables on this car...

tt, thanks for stepping in and helping out. i and others really do appreciate it while eric and ralph are away. i know i was quite frustrated trying to get a response for the past week and half without knowing the situation (out for a meet)

i think it would be really beneficial if you guys update your voicemail with an *out of office, etc* on the helix numbers (888 & support lines) in the future if you are going to be out for an extended period of time. i know that would have put me at ease right away vs. blowing those numbers up on a daily basis for information.

also, just to clarify that i am running 92 octane here if that makes any difference on your fuel theory. thanks again!

Hey everyone. I don't think Eric and Ralph are getting back until quite late Sunday evening. They are at Minis on the Dragon and as Mark said, wont be back until quite late in the weekend. Give them some time on Monday and they will get back to you ASAP.

I have no problem with trying different 91 octane from a different company.
Which company would you suggest if not Shell 91?
As far as the DV's I no longer have the stock DV's so that is not possible.

Chevron, Conaco, Valero?

The question I was referring to is the need to decrease the power of the tune to make it work.

the tune will still have all the power but i did make the AIT overtemp boost taper more agressive to deal with the high gear-high load bouts... the botttom line is power is octane limited on these cars as we have seen with our race gas testing. I shipped your unit back to you hopefully everything is squared away I suppose you could try any of those other fuels for testing purposes.

Great to here! Fantastic customer service! I will try Valero 91 and a few others and provide feedback. Thanks again. If you keep answering all the PM's so quickly you raise the bar very high for Eric and Ralph. Thanks TT.
