I once went through a claim with a dealer in regards to a curbed stock wheel. It was a PITA to deal with. Luckily, I had taken off my Fikses and were running the stockers.

I bring my car in with my CSLs for service, but they're cheap, and would not be a big deal. The BBS ones I would change out if it were me. If they damage it they'll probably take care of it, but the hassle of swapping wheels might be less than the hassle of going through a claim. YMMV.

nope...i'm pretty low and bmwsf has never given me any problems for the oil change. i just talk directly to the service manager

Wow, if it costs $80 per car to drive a lowered car onto a lift, can I have that job?

Their lifts are not the drive on ones, those are only for alignments typically. They probably wanted to charge you extra for jacking the car up a bit to get the arms to fit under the car.

Flat rate shops pay out by the job. An oil change is say, 20 minutes. If the tech takes 5 hours to do it, he gets paid 20 minutes. So any hindrance is unwelcome. Although I would think they would just help you out and get it done...
