Did a little test fitment after getting my 335 calipers back from powder. Wheels need to be sealed and be bolted back together before rubber. Still waiting on some caliper parts from the motherland and for rotors and pads from EBC

This is the end, beautiful friend
This is the end, my only friend, the end

No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes, again

Man, I hope not.

Got new front tires on the e93 from a small tire shop.
The previous tires were balanced by americas tire co.
I had some odd vibrations since americas tire did work. I had thought it was the giubo going bad since everything else was good.
It was the dang wheel balancing!
Car feels so smooth now.

Efthreeoh hoping for the best, update us as you know more.

I fired up xdelete and put my car into RWD mode. I can't say I feel any difference other than a reduction in NVH while cruising. It felt v v smooth on a drive to Fort Worth yesterday. We'll see what I think on the drive home today.

Replaced my B8s with Koni yellows. I was hoping for a smoother ride since the damping is adjustable. So far there's improvement but still more work to be done on my quest to find balance in performance and comfort. Also, after installing M3 control arms, I have a clunking noise from the front end on bumpy roads... can't figure out why though

Did you torque with wheels at ride height? Check the antiroll bar end links or need to re-torque them

Interesting. I was planning on going from my B6 to the B4s, but I saw that the Konis were 20% off at ECS and was considering them as alternatives.

I suppose the Yellows are still more comfortable than the B8s?

Any reason you didn't go with the Special Actives?

You did the right thing, and prefer these over actives/FSD which I had prior w upgraded control arms and sway bars (bouncy at high speed, especially silly in turns). Just get the stiffness dialed to preference and you be good, and really like the ride on mine. They are not Öhlins, but bang for the buck they are very good and requires no re build for a long time.

it absolutely does which is how i stumbled upon the superseded part number for the fuel cap.

what I was trying (terribly) to articulate was that I on realoem i want to put in the last 7 of my vin and then have the ability to run a query on the database showing me all of the part numbers applicable to my vehicle that have been superseded with new part numbers since the car was initially built.

on a mysql db, it would be something akin to:

Code:
SELECT * FROM e9x WHERE partnumberstatus = 'superseded';
at any rate -

today I topped off the tank with 93octane and cleaned the dash of my e91 with nextzett cockpit premium

I had been thinking of going with the B8 (or the B12 kit - same shocks/struts but paired with Eibach pro-kit springs) however a few posts I read suggested that the Bilsteins last a lot longer than the Koni yellows. Is there any truth to that? I know these forums are full of crap sometimes.

I just want something that's not too harsh and I hear the Koni yellows are more comfortable.

Just after doing research the Koni yellows seemed to be the best of both worlds.

I attempted to torque at ride height, however my torque wrench is an 18in and I couldnt properly torque it due to only have jack stands and minimal room.

You can achieve right height by jacking up the car from the control arm/knuckle until the car barely lifts off the jack stands and then torque the bolts.

Lowered on those same springs, and perfect combo and people been running combo for long time and definitely a tried setup. You be happy for sure. Also, been a while but 95% sure I ride the E30 spring perches front to bring it up slightly and a 10mm rubber pad in rear floor slight/raise lean and never like when the rear wheel is tucked too much (for looks). Setup in picture w 275/245/19 tires

Also, definitely not a harsh ride - wife drives this one and still very smooth and suspension make no noise, which I struggle to achieve anytime I done coilovers in other cars.

A replacement won't work? Like, fan failure seems like cause 1. Are you worried about wiring or a fuse or something?
