Eibach prokit, Maybe problems???
Hi welcome all, I've recently bought an e90 2008 320d, I've already, with a bit of surplus cash, started upgrading.
I'm very anxious however because I'm having an Eibach prokit fitted tomorrow and not sure if I'm going to get rubbing issues?? I have 18inch aftermarket bbs looking wheels x8front x9rear 225/40/18 all round and 20mm spacers rear and 15mm front. Et34 I think?? Eibach kit is 30mm front 25mm rear. I think rears should be fine as there is quite substantial clearance and a nice stretch from the 225 tyre over the 9inch rim. However front has me worried I think it's going to be pretty close. Any advice would great. Will I lose my plastic inner arches? |

Morning.
I've recently taken a deposit for my 350z, and I'm on the lookout for a 330i Coupe E92. I've test driven a 325i, and felt underwhelmed by the sound/power, but then I am comparing to my Z, which isn't fair. |

Hi guys
I'm Luke from manchester, recently bought a e91 msport and have to say I love it!! I was in the Audi/vw scene for the last four years and used to go to shows etc, even had my car featured in Audi driver magazine!! Got a little tired of the same old same plus I needed something to throw the fishing gear in the back of lol Anyway I have a few plans for it but no way near as involved as the a3 was. IMO I think the e91s look lovely with a nice set of 19s with a little drop so probably aiming for that for now. Thanks :-) |

Hi I really need some advice and I found this site so I thought I would ask.
I am stuck between choosing between a BMW 320d SE (2007) or a BMW 320i M Sport (2007). From what I have read the diesels are by far a better option given they give 58.9mpg vs petrols 42.1mpg approx. Also apparently the diesels are 6 cylinder whereas the petrols are 4 cylinder, is that right? and if so what does that mean exactly? However the M Sport looks much better than the SE. The obvious thing to do would be to get a 320d M Sport however they are about £1000 more. I also wanted to know what kind of depreciation I can expect after a years/10000miles use. These are the 3 cars I have shortlisted. 1. BMW 320i M Sport 2007 63k mileage - £10,000 2. BMW 320d M Sport 2007 74k mileage - £10,500 3. BMW 320d SE 2007 78k mileage - £9,500 Any advice please. I am looking to make a decision within the next 2-3 days. |

Hi all
Hello all
New to the forum here. Have had my E92 for a couple of years now and recently had the urge to do some minor mods to it. The forum has been great for information! Thanks all. |

Hello, I am a long time lurker & a new actual member.
I currently own a E46 330i facelift auto. Fantastic car but currently as the family car it is costing a fortune to run. So looking to upgrade to a E9x diesel model in the near future. |

Been here a while
Back in September bought this, was an AUC, just getting round to putting some pictures on here..
As you can see E93 in JB and has extended Fox Red leather with 6MT. Wasn't originally in the market for an M3 was looking at a 330i or 335i, but as usual something catches your eye that is slightly over budget, so what gives is the budget..!! First BMW and have been impressed by the build quality, engineering and performance (straight line and the twisties). Have for a number of years driven turbo cars with more or less turbo lag and enjoy the instant performance you get from this engine. In terms of mods don't plan do do a lot to it but over the next few months will look at BMW performance splitter, Umnitza or Lux angel eyes, Edition 500 side gills, maybe LCI rear lights and Piano black trim if right one comes along... Would normally look to uprate suspension on my cars but have read the issues with bumpstops if you just use upgraded springs and at the moment can't justify cost of coilovers... Will in the summer look to get across to a meet, as seeing some of the cars on this forum tastefully modded or OEM definately worth a look.. |

Hi all,
Not a BMW owner yet (sorry), but looking to buy my first one shortly. I joined just to say thank you for the Big Motoring World thread - I was pointed in direction of it by a friend and I think I dodged a bullet as we had almost decided to buy from them. In terms of what will be filling the space in front of the house it will most likely be an E91 320i - not the most exciting of cars, but a reasonable upgrade for us and a worthy successor to the stolen Volvo S40. I've been a fan of BMWs since my dad bought an '84 E30 318i in "Bronzit beige" (metallic brown-ish) at some point in the late nineties - I'm quite excited to have one of my own even if it isn't quite the dream spec. |
