The curves of the light and the fender make it look like you have some kind of side snorkel vent lol

Got up early and got a aircon regas apparently it had nothing left in it. Next was to fit the black screw fasteners in the boot. Then started the mammoth task of the interior valet I’m convinced it has never been cleaned since it was new (12 years) long story after 6 hours all plastics are like new , carpets all hoovered so is headlining and all stains cleaned . I also fixed the passenger cupholder. Next I downloaded a new updated map for my nav and am awaiting my fsc code to come .Tommoz will be doing a leather clean and condition.

Got up early to finally fill her up with coolant and start it up. Changed the radiator, water pump, and thermostat. Only to find out my battery is DEAD. Pretty bummed about it. Hopefully it'll take a charge again. Called the dealer to see if the battery was under warranty.. which it is. But they want me to take the whole car in. Instead of just giving me a new battery. I would but the car is in pieces since I've been working on it.

Scanned codes, it's a cylinder 4 misfire. Given I've got a new Index 12 in there, the plugs have maybe 15K on them, and the nature of the fault, I'm inclined to think its ignition coils instead. Feeling like an idiot because these were the same symptoms which led me to replace my cylinder 3 Index 7 injector.

Lesson learned. Eldors on order. Disappointing really, as the coils have maybe 80K on them. The same model injectors lasted ~ 155K in my old 330Ci (same Delphi parts).

In a way I'm glad I replaced the 7, though, as I bought the 12 before prices got super outrageous...
wait wtf. Just mash on the brakes and slow down accordingly. Or did u downshift to speed away? U didnt blip it high enough?

Downshift to speed away. It’s an auto though, no rev matching needed...

Was in the 2nd to left lane, black Mustang to the left of me kept slamming on the brakes and erratically cutting over between lanes. Didn’t want to be behind the guy as he kept swerving between lanes. Best solution was to get away, plenty of space in front of me. Was going around 70-75, floored it to about 85 temporarily. Downshifted from 6-4 via the kickdown switch, revs were ~6500 RPM at the misfire per ISTA+.

Well oil level started reading correctly again.. :

Got some possible "bad" news though. Got a ride in & also drove my friends 01' Porsche 911 at the dragon… seriously thinking of putting the e92 up for sale and getting one at the end of this year. Was very impressed with his car

I love the auto kickdown switch. Its still a lil faster than me going from 6th to 3rd.

Tackled the crank seal on my new to me 2007 335i e90. Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Waiting on the oil pan gasket to come in and hardware. That will be this coming weekend to do list. Tomorrow I have the OBD dongle coming in so I can check the codes. Loving the platform so far!!!

I was able to clean my dirty seatbelts from the DPO (damn previous owner) by unspooling them and then clamping them so they stayed unspooled. Then, I soaked them one at a time in a bucket of Simple Green and warm water sitting on the seat. Left them soak for several hours and they cleaned right up with a bit of brushing.

I started the e90 up. Then I noticed the clock was set back an hour. It appears I haven’t driven it since before daylights savings time…
