I received the MTech rear bumper in the worlds largest box, it's in the car and will be dropped off at the body shop for paint. Thankful for the fold down seat rear seat and looking forward to installing it on Tuesday if all goes well.

The engine harness is against all logic. Cable that goes ever the intake manifold is for exhaust Vanos’solenoid. The cable that goes above the exhaust manifold is for the intake Vanos solenoid. But don’t worry. Even if you mixed them up nothing will happen to the engine itself. It won’t run ok and will have CEL for Vanos, cams and possibly crank too.

For me not so much that is open box but that is CFS. Although they have usually good products I have had to return two of these due to leaks.

Yeah, I majorly messed up by not marking one to differentiate. I figured I would remember but the job took a couple days, and by that point I couldn't recall with certainty. I ended up watching three or four videos to find an example of the right way, and that was it! I sure don't like the bend the bottom one (exhaust?) takes... housing was totally gone so I had to wrap to reinforce it. Hopefully good to go another 15 that way!

If I remember correctly... swapping the two vanos solenoid harness not only does not harm the car, but ze German engineers actually programed the DME to recognize this condition and have a specific malfunction code for it.

No specific codes, only plethora of camshaft and crankshaft codes that also show up when Vanos solenoids, sensors, return check valves or oil filter cap can cause. Nothing specific.

2011 e90 for sale

Hello All! I am officially new to this forum, but I have been lurking here for years and have enjoyed this forum. I have owned two e21's, one e46 and two e90's. I have learned much on this forum and much of the stuff on my current 2011 e90 reflects cosmetic mods I have found here. With that said, I hope I am on the right thread. I am reluctantly selling my car. She is very close to "cherry" stock. Only engine mod is the charge pipe for obvious reasons. . She has 81K miles on her. Black Leather interior in perfect condition and other goodies. Attached a few pics. I will post more later after ensuring that I am on the correct thread and not infringing on anyone. I feel compelled to come here first before advertising it anywhere else. Please feel free to direct me to the right location.

Got some more car parts in and more to come Tuesday

Mostly excited for the light bar setup. What? A light bar on an e90? Disgusting. Nonsense. It'll be hidden behind the lower grille. Nice and sleek, primary uses will be late night mountain runs and roadside emergency lights. Will be controlled remotely via homelink (is the goal)

In the car:
- p3gauge to monitor coolant temps
- 335 cluster with oil temp gauges (and custom speedometer)
- wood shifter knob
- euro armrest (freakin love it)
- passenger side glasses holder for my wife's sunglasses
- mag safe phone charger + phone cradle for good GPS visibility
- euro headlight/fog switch (thanks 4doors!)

Under the hood:
- new starter
- 3SIM + 330 tune
- new voltage regulator
- BMW performance air intake
- BMW performance strut bar
- new water pump
- new tstat
- new CSF racing radiator
- new hoses & reservoir
- new ground straps
- new ofhg

Amazing it took a whole year to get all that done, but felt great to enjoy it all.
Do tell me more of this Euro armrest...!!!
I believe he is talking about the Euro split sliding/folding armrest

Drove it for COVID testing

Also, alarm came in, and I've noticed my headliner is starting to droop behind the sun visors & the ultrasonic bump.

Wonder if I shouldn't go for a black headliner or stick with gray. Car is black/black, but with a gray headliner. Would probably want to go with synthetic suede as well, because why not?

Also, will do the Koni write up soon. It's been almost 1000 miles and I wanted some time for the setup to settle before writing a review.

Finally got round to getting the 320d remapped today (on the hottest day of the year!). Despite intake temperatures of over 40°C, it still managed an increase of 50bhp and 100ftlbs of torque. The tuner reckons if I were to come back on a cooler, more typically British day, I'd easily see a higher reading on the dyno.

Painted The brake calipers

The brake calipers were rusted. Looked terrible.
I took them off , cleaned them up with wire brush and gave them a coat of paint.

I like that they came out looking subtle and not too flashy
