Installed the oem alarm (that I got a few months ago) today and washed it after a few months.
Ooooooooo, I forgot how fast the e90 was.
Maybe next year I’ll run the wires for the PDC module.

I have definitely looked down that rabbit hole. The donor car + cost of work put me off. Also, I already love my car. I think if I wanted my car to be 'fast' I'd look at a n54 swap or a supercharger. For now, the rock solid reliability and 330 tune are more than sufficient.

If anything, I don't get enough chances to drive my car already

Oh man someone made a F81 M3 CTS that thing is amazing. No conversion is going to be cheap unfortunately. I was given the option to N54 swap my car vs another N52 and for the price it wasn't all that worth it. It was about the cost of buying another 335. So sticking with the N52. Might SC it soon too..

Finally took the plunge and did tranny fluid change along with pan & filter on my E90 N54. Car was at 206,000km. Reading all the online threads really make you paranoid and scared haha. I'm on xHP stage 3 since 2018, did not reset adaptations. Car shifting is definitely smoother, not that there was an issue before. Also did front diff & rear diff oil change, 1st time as well.

Nice! Fluids degrade with use, it's always a good idea to at least do a drain and fill regardless of having higher mileage. If the correct fluid is used and the transmission is filled correctly it will never hurt anything. Only a power flush could damage the transmission because it can dislodge any particulates and send them into the valve body. I haven't read about any need to reset adaptations after a fluid and filter change, only after replacing internal parts. I've changed the trans fluid in my own E90, and several other BMWs without doing an adaptation reset and have had no issues.

I wouldn't mind picking up a higher mileage wagon and stuff my 335 drive train it. Maybe even pick up a cheaper manual 335 and swap a manual drivetrain into the wagon. 335 wagon would be such an awesome daily

I've been looking for a wrecked LCI low mileage 335 as a donor for 2 years. Hard to find

I picked up the new bumper from paint and installed it in the garage in the 95 degree weather. Thankfully, I had a fan to at least move some air around. The shop recommended painting all three parts BSM, who am I to argue with a guy that had four 911's at different stages of paint? I'm feeling better now that the car is back to normal.

I think I kinda' like the black.
Plasti dipped the rear diffuser in 6 coats of Matt black. Goes well with the crimson red. I like it

Might end up dipping the entire car if I continue on this path.

I am very close to finishing my oem+ restoration on my 2100 E90 335i. This week I had the drivers' seat bolster and door armrest leather re-dyed, a stage 1 paint correction and installed new AG M359 wheels. I applied Cquartz DLUX ceramic coating on the wheels and calipers. The fitment on the wheels is flush, no need for spacers.
I am waiting on a FMIC to ship and it will be finished. Enjoy the pictures.

Bimmers are all good for the moment, so time to do some upkeep on the GL: Oil change (9k per Blackstone), cam plugs, oil separator, coolant change. Didn't get to brake fluid, but it's coming soon! After than, on to the Mazda3!!!

Just picked up an excellent condition 2011 328i msport with only 73k miles on the clock. Got a damn good deal on it too. I immediately ordered a couple items to improve the asthetics and interior of the car. Installed "M" license plate frame and as well as valve stem caps. Still waiting for a few items to arrive next week.
