That's because managers are considered exempt employees. We are exempt from overtime... True that managers are probably paid more than non-managerial staff, but the extra time managers put in sometimes makes their hourly rate lower than their staff.

Yeah, they've explained that to me many times before. I work partime/go to school full time so whenever there is OT they just dump it off to me cause I get paid for it, don't mind it though.
