My stable:
65k miles on the AWD E91, It has every receipt of all work ever done on it. Zero accidents. 1 owner my step mother who never hit red line once. It does have a monstrous sun roof & roof rack.

All I need is a convertible now and I will have every body style.
In all seriousness The E91 will VERY likely be up for sale in the spring so I can buy an TTD X5 for the family. I bought it as I got a great deal on it and it gives me something to drive in the winter with the AWD. If everything works out the E90 will become the 'beater' and I will drive it in the winter and to visit customers. We'll see though...It will be hard to justify keeping the E92.

My winter beaters were always nissan maximas but I had 4 winter tires on them so the FWD was bearable. My ideal winter beater would be an inexpensive reliable manual awd sedan or SUV. I always considered a subaru legacy if you have it and own it I say drive it as buying a new car means registering and paying sales tax on it. That cost is probably more than your yearly maintenance on the car...

totally agree! legacy is payment free right now but I got leaking head gaskets and a bad cat so idk if I really want to throw down $3k for repairs blah...plus all this talk about people getting X5s and whatnot is getting me jealous
coworker has a friend who left for india and left his 2 year old 328 here in the states and just needs someone to pick up the payments...tempting... EDIT: it's actually a N55 335xi Last edited by jor2cool4u; 07-21-2015 at 05:24 PM.. |

I have 3 cats on the subie, but only care about the 2 before the O2 sensors causing the CEL and it's part of the exhaust manifold and the whole thing is $800 to replace FML...dammit subaru and their weird ass wrap around manifolds

Nice legacy that car should last a LONG time. Auto? Interior type? Turbo charged? I bet you can find someone local who will trade and pay for the labor of switching exhausts back to stock.
