IDK about better than stock.....I remember when this was a big thing with the JDM scene as removing the plastic hub cap did the job.....steelies look is what the reminds me of is all.....

Some cars do look really good with black rims....

Every e9x I see seems to have black rims.....even stock rims plasti dipped or sprayed black....

To each their own....just wondering if I was missing something....Saw a lady in e92 328i m sport with black rims on 78 the other day....then blue e90 with blk rims...and a bunch more around....

its easier to keep clean. looks nicer. and is at least a little different from all the other cars that have silver rims.
it just comes down to personal preference

I have the non-updated JB4. Since the CEL went away, I haven't tried reading the codes. Would it still be there?

Style 230's in stock alloy color is amazing much better than black! How come people think it's easier to keep black clean? You can see every water mark, brown dirt etc. but yes I agree personal preference just wish we could see some variety here in San Diego so we can spot each other easier!

Give it a shot and read the codes through the gauges if you can. If not feel free to video it and send it my way. You can pm me for my number.

Hey guys, does anyone know a good place to code? I'm looking to code the digital mph, code the amber side lights out when my headlights are on, and probably do the window closing on my fob. Anyone local that can help a brother out?
