Do you have access to INPA / NCS Expert?
You could code in the TPMS menu in the Kombi, or simply reset the system via INPA.

I assume your CCC is totally dead? Another alternative is to source a used one on ebay (but I presume you’ve already considered this).

Nursed it home with what is probably a dead alternator. Battery light popped on as I drove into work this morning. Used a jump pack to top it off and start it, with 12.2V showing. Drove home in the 107F heat dome with the a/c off, but made it home with the battery reading 10.9V and the engine still running! I'll check ground strap, but pretty sure the problem is the 220,000 miles on the alternator. It don't owe me nuthin'.

Front rotors and pads went from DTC 30's to akebo. I must say its a HUGE difference and i don't care my rotors last only a year I NEED them back.

I had a quick project 300 miles away, out Wednesday morning and back Thursday afternoon and it didn't miss a beat. It's been awhile since I've done one of these and have to admit that I was a little nervous. If only people used the appropriate lanes and understood that driving under the posted limit in a left hand lane is dangerous. Don't even get me started on semi trailers...

New ground strap on the E91. Seems to have resolved the slow start. Not going to claim total victory, though, as that is how you make the Car Gods say, "Hold my beer."

Got a high speed balance done - FYI the solution to my vibration issues was to have the wheel balanced on the car at high speeds.

Car is now stable at 80 mph (and beyond…)

Have a slight bend in my right front wheel though - it's already been refinished once too.

Are the style 287s just really soft? They seem to bend just by looking at them wrong…

Did the brakes on my e91 today, they were so horrendous and overdue. Job I work at now I work 4x10's so leaves me with OT on Friday and Saturday or enjoy my down time,

Great having 3 day weekend to get car stuff done.

Which one? I'm thinking of doing this on my E91 as well as I'm starting to worry about the slow start thing.

The large one on the driver side from the starter, P/N 12427549396. I have the smaller one on the other side and need to get to that one soon as well, but it tends not to disintegrate/corrode as badly.

Yeah, the one on the driver's side is a must if you're doing a starter replacement or 3SIM install. Basically, if the manifold is off, just do it.

My slow starts eventually were the starter motor, which I replaced and did the 3SIM/ground strap whilst I was in there.

But it's do-able without taking the manifold off, correct? I was planning on doing it from under the car.

Had a service done. Not sure what cured the rough idle. Only thing I changed was the oil spec from 5w40 to 5w30. Haven't had a rough idle since then.

Installed a set of bag hooks (Pocket Holder - 51-47-7-140-606) in my trunk. Made it back from the grocery store, and for the first time, the bags were still secured where I left them. Should have done this a long time ago.

You should be able to get it done with an extension and a flex joint for the top bolt. Just be cautious, cause I think that has a nut on the other side. With the air intake box out and the power steering reservoir moved you have your best shot.

The other end of the strap is under the driver footwell. You take off your first shroud under the motor, then another shroud just below the footwell/behind the wheel well.

Here's my post from when I did all of it: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showp...ostcount=20570

I don't have a useful pic of the ground strap, but I can confirm that it at least doesn't need to get over to where the starter is!

I got some grocery hooks from an audi awhile back. One of the best daily driver mods ever for any car with a trunk

Had Bob from stage fp do yet another revision on my tune so it drives somewhat normal, this one seems to work fine except he added exhaust pops in manual mode over 4k lol. Never know what you're getting but I don't mind them, cool switch up. Also did a bunch of pulls on the car from 0 to 100 and to the limiter with the stock dme before flashing so I can compare later to see if it's actually any faster with the tune on.

Washed it too.

100 years from now if anyone still cares, the E92 coupé will be the definitive example of BMW in this era. Nice clean lines.

After removing the fuel pump top hat and fiddling with it multiple time, the line issue is no more.
I double checked that the fuel level sensor was free and could move around.

The fuel gauge won’t show more than a 1/4 tank, but it does drop below 1/4 to show I’m low on fuel.
So now I get to take the pump out for what seems like the millionth time.
