would any of you be interested in driving to gulfport/biloxi for a meet? Leave BR between 11-1 (depending) drive down...grab a bite to eat...hang out take some pics..??? what you think? We could go down later and hang around that night if there is a car meet or something going on? Just a thought.

well I don't mind, but if there are MS folk up there it'll be kinda jacked up to have a meet there and not invite them.

Pretty sure it'll be a big enough meet for lots of variety. When is it? I'm driving back to Atlanta I could sync that with my drive back hah.
Stu, and all really. Here is the PCA sign up for July http://www.mgpca.org/ For anyone interested NASA is full for July and usually fills up within a couples days of registration opening for HPDE 1 and 2 drivers. If you'd like to do NASA with an instructor in November you need to sign up ASAP here http://www.nasaproracing.com/event/1600 Please, anyone interested clear your calendar for this event you will not regret it. Also, if you'd like to get into NASA for July there is a small chance. Email Scott Foremaster or anyone official at Nasa. If another instructor signs up they can add someone into HPDE-1 whose on the wait list

335is vs M3 VF620
Last time I bother you guys and gals about this. Pick one and please don't be biased by the M3 virus that seems to infect everyone here:
1) Buy my 335is "VADER "(45K miles) off lease for $32K. Add Cobb AP, FMIC, DCI, and DP at Southern Autobahn. 2) Buy 2009 M3 (28K miles) for $50K. It has VF620 SC installed and DCT but the warranty is prolly void. Car in Cali 3) Buy 2011 M3 (48K miles) for $48K. Has competition pkg ZCP and DCT. Car in Cali, no warranty Can the SC be serviced in BTR? Is it dependable? Thanks in advance. ![]()

Doc
Whatever you do get one of the M3's. You need to go for a ride in Tim B's M3 before you decide ,it is supercharged now. Can you link us to these cars as well? Even though the car has an expensive supercharger I am partial to the newer car unless the condition of the 09' is outstanding and the options are perfect. Plus i'd think you'd want EDC for comfort. The reliability will be fine with the supercharger, it might just need 02 sensors more frequently which is common on highly modified cars of all makes. If you could get the 11' for 45k that would be a nice deal.

Does anyone have any recommendations for exhaust work around the New Orleans area? I need my Cyba tips installed and considering putting in electronic cutouts by Doug's Headers. If a shop comes highly recommended from Baton Rouge I would be willing to make the drive.

Todd, I hear you but I am worried about the reliability of the SC. Is this a justified concern? Is the SC reliable, easy to repair, or prone to failure and difficult to repair. Any thoughts. Any one here have experience with SC? I am definitely excited about the LSD and competition pkg but not sure what the SC brings to the street ( remember I don't track). Thanks

I'm FBO already just with the stock cat back. I have such a long commute that I don't want to put an aftermarket cat back on. I was planning on putting them in right before the rear mufflers so when I feel like having some more sound I can open them up and then close them on my commute. I don't expect any power gains I just want more sound. I know almost any shop can do it but some are better than others at doing clean welds and all. That's why I was looking for recommendations.
