I heard you remus last night and it sounded very good with startup and a few quick revs.
Sure let me know when and where!

I choose to call it the "modding to alleviate the recession" initiative. Doesn't hurt that it sounds sweet

Do I spy an ///M badge stuck where the BMW roundel should be on the trunk lid?

In other news, just put on the remus race exhaust. My car now sounds like it wants to eat little children!

This is why I hate dealers! They're like factories that churn cars in and out of service with no distinction between those owners who trundle between point A and B and those who are genuine enthusiasts. I also don't understand the seemingly basic disregard for someone else's property.

Cases like this make a compelling reason to use independent, enthusiast based shops for service and maintenance.

Totally agree... now if the independents would just cover warranty work...

That type of stuff pisses me off so much though.

I bought a set of golf clubs on ebay once and I found out 6 months after I got them that they were a very legit looking set of KNOCK OFFS!!

It just sucks that you can't trust people anymore... and what's worse, online purchases you can't go over and give the seller a piece of your mind like you could before internet shopping.

...Sorry just had to vent for a second.

Unfortunately, I think warranty work is a reason dealers can get away with crappy service. "It's free so don't complain". Now they screw you even more with free maintenance, as it locks you into going to them repeatedly.

Haha I actually laughed audibly! So funny...yet so true. even the oakley sticker.

I feel your pain.. I got scammed over an expensive laptop purchase from ebay some 8-9 yrs ago.. like a dumbass I paid via Western Union so I had no ebay/paypal protection. Fortunately, I was able to dispute the payment with the credit card company and got my money back .. otherwise I would have been screwed for around $2000
