well that depends on how much of an ass my boss is when i resign...
if he's cool about it, i'll be more than happy to pop in here for the next couple weeks on my free time to help things along...

If he's an ass about it and says "there's no point in you sticking around..." and gives me a hard time about it...then it's adios MF, and he can figure out all the stuff I did for him on his own

I'm not one to burn bridges, but if he burns it, then that's his bad

No, it's normal to give a 2 weeks notice. People need to watch out though, some companies will want you to leave right away for different reasons. A lot of Financial Institutions will want people to leave right away. Other companies want you to stay on the last 2 weeks to help train people that might be replacing you and for other people to take over whatever projects/accounts/etc. you are working on.

That sucks...I haven't gotten around to trying to order it yet...

I was reading through the clear corner diy, but sounds too iffy (don't trust myself to seal it up all the way)

I know it's normal to give notice. But a resignation letter is an immediate quit, the way i see it, if he would have been staying for two weeks, he would be turning in his two weeks notice
