The Cobb ap already logs far more day at an order of magnitude or more resolution than the procede or jb4.

boom: yes the Cobb AP more than likely polls the logging parameters with greater frequency than either piggyback, but IMO the piggyback's datalog software is superior. You need to convert the Cobb datalogs to actually view them.. an extra step.

if you know how to review logs for what they are worth, you probably can chart them how you prefer. I honestly cant stand the procede log images.

Fail. Excel can plot the data in a matter of seconds just like numerous free programs available. The logs are .cvs format. That's about as universal as it gets.

resolution on procede is about 30 samples/sec... similar if not better then Cobb with same qty of channels. Cobb does have more channels of course, but piggy can add them eventually.

EDIT: just looked 16 channels at 35 samples/sec... pretty good.

Not to pretend to know how an N54 flash like Cobb's works but I think its safe to assume there's no need to "poll" any logging parameters..i'd think they're just "provided" into the DME over the CANBus and "polling" isn't required...i'm going into technicalities/semantics again i know...at a high level, i agree with themyst...IMO being inside the DME should definitely have faster access to signal/sensor data than being a listener on the canbus..

IMO all forms of logging are horrible if you've ever used tuning software for other car platforms

They all need some work to say the least.

Actually, piggyback datalogs are in .csv format too, so in essence the logs of all the tunes, piggyback and flash alike can be plotted in Excel.

The point I was trying to make was you can load the datalog in either piggyback without having to go through the extra steps if you read carefully.

have your excel sheet prepared with the graph and stuff, have cells with headers of parameters ready that you'd usually want to log, and once you log just copy/paste whatever you the info which graphs itself. This is what i do, i have time/rpm/throttle/afr/ignition/boost/IAT ready, i just copy paste into the made ready cells.

Will we be able to have a custom tune performed on a dyno with Cobb software in the future? Thought I read this somewhere. Thanks.
