It’s this kit, it’s Platnium only which is the OEM, apparently they switched from Bosch to NGK.
I wouldn’t want plugs sitting in an engine longer than 160k, they were stiff coming out I put liquid wrench to help. I was worried they would break https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...-12137594937kt |

Heater came in today. Guess I will wire that up tomorrow. Relay, trigger and power wire already ran so connectors to be added to heater and it’s ready to go. Glad I prewired for everything ahead of time.

Cleared sunroof rear drain tube ends
Was getting water accumulating at the battery compartment, and some wetness on the felt carpet covering in that area. Upon reading as most possible culprit being clogged up sunroof drains, found and cleaned up the rear sunroof drain tube ends. To access them had to remove the rear bumper cover, which was like opening a tv remote to clean up spilled liquid in it. Lots of plastic hooks and catches that hold the bumper cover to the rest of the car that require pressing and prying exactly the right places to let them go free.
Anyway, the drain tubes have some plus shaped ending piece that can be removed. I believe their purpose is to prevent insects going up the drain and nesting when dry and clogging the drains that way. But these also hold dirt that comes down from the sunroof area and clog up. Both left and right of mine were clogged, which is fair considering car is 16 years old and never had those cleaned before. I haven't cleaned the front ones yet. Forum says they are easier to access, not behind the bumpers, just under the bottom cover on the sides. In related news, removed the bumper, fixed the headlight assembly alignment (previous minor accident circa 2015 which wasn’t disclosed to CARFAX), installed the headlight reinforcement brackets, and installed bumper plugs. Oh, and updated the maps in the i3. Getting the bumper alignment correct was quite something… Last edited by Hoody007; 02-06-2023 at 10:18 PM.. |

E90 are already low. If I compare my audi and e90 , they look at the same height visually, but e90 is scraping on every abnormal bumps while the audi wont. ill probably go with polyurethane bushing all around, koni shocks, stock springs, and oem 18'' with indy500 and spacers. Looking for a single turbo kit right now, before buying anything else, to set my budget. |

Parked and saw a little steam popped the hood and seen the connection hose to expansion is no longer holding a proper seal. Squirts of antifreeze on left side. Replace and we should be good. Should be cheap yeah?

Went for a look on break. I want to say the cap is definitely destroyed. This would cause a rise in pressure and force coolant out from the connection where the hose and tank meet??? Inspected all areas and that’s the only leak spot right where upper hose connects, no cracks anywhere and no dry rotted plastic. Simple extraction of broken piece and a new cap and we are worry free? Thank

As far as the cap goes it’s broken isn’t it?! That piece stuck in the expansion tank should have been stuck to the cap if I’m correct since my kalt level floater is clearly under that piece plus I wouldn’t be able to fill with it stuck in there.
