How bad is heater core replacement?

Hi all,

I'm not from the UK but I figured this would be a good place to ask about something RHD-specific
Has anyone replaced their heater core? Mine seems to not be working so well, and a backflush didn't seem to accomplish much. Only information I can find is for LHD cars, where it's recommended to remove the steering column, then slide the heater core out to the left.
Can the heater core be removed in this way in RHD cars? If so, what needs to come out?

Thanks

Watching as may nee to do this for friend, likewise can't find anything about doing in on RHD car. hoping its just the glove box that needs to come out and that it still comes out on the left of the car.

I realise it's not the core, but I removed the heater blower easily in a RHD car using this LHD guide. You can see the core through the blower aperture.
