That was me! Glad to see some other M2s out in the wild! I'm sure I'll see you guys out there a couple more times this year. I live about 2 miles away from the autoplex.

It was not the ideal parking location, but that was absolutely the busiest I've seen it. In the past I've showed up at like 930-10 and just drove in. After sitting in traffic for a half hour or so we just parked somewhere to be able to get out and wander around.

I may be headed to that spring into something show that's happening in Lakeville tomorrow, unconfirmed yet.

Agreed on how packed it got. I got there at 8:30 and I could have parked anywhere but within 20 minutes it was getting pretty filled up.

Any of you local guys interested in an Adam's air cannon for car drying purposes? It blows hot air and dries the car a little more effectively than an ambient temp leaf blower but it takes a while. Willing to part with it for a handshake and a bottle of bourbon and would meet up somewhere to part ways with it. Let me know.

I was actually just thinking about these on Friday when I was trying to dry my car. I'll take it off your hands for sure!

Spoke to the cop directing traffic. Said it was by far the busiest and never before was traffic backed go to Hwy 55 let alone parked along the road that far .

If you guys like detailing, I have the Adam's Deionizer that hooks up to the hose to correct our horrendously hard water. Game changer. I can even let the car dry in the sun and it's spotless. There are a lot of brands that make the same thing, too.

I don't have the air cannon, though. I just slum it with a leaf blower

I’ve been thinking about one of those. Our water isn’t terrible, but it could always be better.

Nice! This is good feedback on a deionizer solution as I'm mulling over getting one. I hand washed my car on Friday with my home tap water and there are waterspots all over the car, etched into the clear and will need some work to remove them. I was thinking about a solution like you mention but wanted to be sure it was fairly bulletproof and actually worked before pulling the trigger.

Don’t know about that show. I missed having Cars and Coffee at Chan. If I can’t get my car washed and it isn’t a rain out, I will probably go.

I looked at Cars and Caves “requirements” for the what they let into shows. I’m curious if our M2’s would qualify as “luxury sports cars that are rare”…

I cannot imagine them turning someone in a G87 away unless there are no parking spots left, or if your car was really dirty or something. The biggest thing is getting there before it fills up.

If the weather behaves on Sat am I plan to go early. If I get any pushback on getting in I will message back to this group.

I plan on washing my car when I get home tonight and driving Battlewagon (my hail damaged/buy back GLI) to work tomorrow so that the M2 stays clean. I plan on arriving around 0830 as well.
