my dealership wanted to use BG brake fluid in my m2
I'm wondering how I should feel about them suggesting BG brake fluid should be better than the OEM fluid BMW offers .

It is possible BG makes and bottles or puts into bulk containers the BMW labeled brake fluid. This link: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...yABEgJLRfD_BwE On the label it is stated the fluid is made in Germany. |

I should of mentioned I have eight days in at the road course and I want the m mechanic to do the first fluid change for me. I hate having all the left over brake fluid hanging around my garage as well when I do my own work.

When I was there today picking up my wheelset they installed new cup 2 tires on, I informed my service manager we should just keep it all BMW brand fluids and I will be happy. He agreed.

He agreed...and took the car to the service area where they used BG brake fluid anyway.

LOL , that is probably the truth.
IN defense of the establishment I mentioned they are doing their best to take care of me. They know I am tracking my car, and they also know nothing about that hobby. So, I believe they were just looking for a fluid to offer that may be rated higher than BMW, they said it had a 60 degree higher rating. |
