BMW performance shocks - alternatives

Haven't difficulties sourcing rear BMW performance shocks (P/N 33526788890) without breaking the bank. Are there other alternatives out there?

I have the front performance shocks as well as performance springs (all 4 corners) already; just need to get the rears.

Thanks!!

For BMW performance Shocks, probably a Bilstein B6 or B8. Maybe a Koni Yellow Sport.

If you have the performance springs, I strongly suggest not going anything entry level as those shocks/struts are... very under-damped from general consensus. Get Koni Yellow/ Bilstein B8 all around.

so after asking a number of different vendors / suppliers, I was able to find the rear performance shocks for a reasonable price (just a tad more than B8 or Koni yellow).

I guess it would make sense to match front and rear shocks (ie, performance shocks) than to mix and match?

No, it would make more sense to not pay more $ for a worse off product. Sell the fronts and buy a full set of B8

This is on my e87 but the cars are very similar to the e9x. I am running the BMW Performance springs and Bilstien b8 shocks and struts. The combo is amazing, just as good as my e90 with full BMW performance suspension.

In Germany, b4 is stock replacement for non sport suspension, b6 works with the M-sport suspension and b8 is used for the performance springs. If my original performance shocks and struts give out, Bilstein b8 all around.
