BMW G42 M240i Unofficial Art Car
BMW employees at BMW's Mexico plant San Luis Potosi joined with a local artist in putting together this unofficial BMW Art Car based on the new G42 M240i coupe.
The livery paint scheme features 8 colors, blending the Mexico and Germany flag colors - the country of production and country of development. The paint was applied manually and took three weeks in total. VIDEO

Accentuates how disconnected the headlights are from the grill on the new 2 series. Not a good look IMO

Employees in Mexico did something unofficial (aka having fun)...
Patiently waits for the "...and this is why I would never buy a BMW that's made in Mexico" crowd. |

I didn't notice dude was using his left hand until halfway through then I saw the sling. Ok, where's his right hand?
Either way the gentleman is talented. 👏🏽 |

Well, I'll certainly take this as more of an art car compared to slapping "FAST" on the side of an M6 and calling that an "Art Car."

Agreed. I was hoping for a San Remo Green / Cognac combination on a MY23 M240i but that colour is not a standard one for MY22 at least. Otherwise an Isle of Man Green / Kyalami Orange combination would look good on an M2 too.

Such a shame there's no San Remo on the G42, would go really well with the black cills, when there is a Cognac interior option. I'm unlikely to pay 6 times the price of metallic paint for BMW Individual Verde Ermes. Green cars with brown interiors sound awful but seem to making a comeback.
