Gripes redux? Cruise control and Sport Mode
Today I finally used cruise control for the first time, it kicked me out of Sport mode. Putting the car back into Sport mode cancelled the CC.
Are these two things actually incompatible or is my car just being a little weird? ID8 Modes: The gift that keeps on giving. |

Nope it's dumb and definitely a gripe. My guess is they want us to have all the nannies in cruise control.

So Sport and Track are "modes", while Engine Sport+ is a "setup" or "setting." Shrug. Last edited by Squidget; 07-11-2023 at 01:52 PM.. |

Also, another note on Cruise Control, it's quite aggressive. It accelerates and engine brakes more than expected to get to the target speed.
I try to be a smooth driver. When I was messing with CC, my wife started complaining. "Why are you driving all jerky?" It wasn't me, it was the CC! |
