Interior Cleanability/Color Choice?

So I'm waiting for an allocation, but I still haven't decided which interior I want. I like congac the best, but I want the better seats, so unfortunately that's out of the question. Which leads me to oyster, which is beautiful, but I work a very dirty job, often ending up covered in soot or actual crap. Obviously I'd change clothes in those situations, but you still run the chance of stuff coming off of your skin or hair.

Anyone have the oyster interior (or a lighter interior) that can comment on how easily it marks and/or how easily it cleans up?

Should I just go black with blue stitching? Or should I just go cognac? (or maybe go cheap black and then just get some recaros and delete the rear seats wink wink) Going with Thundernight paint definitely.

Both the synthetic and real leather are quite durable and clean rather easily. I'd simply choose what you really want, even oyster if that's your preference. I had oyster in my M235i and Silverstone in my M6…no issues at all if you clean when necessary.

I sit on a towel draped over the back held in place by the head rest posts. Not because I'm dirty when I drive, but the leather on my 440GC (not perfed) gets quite warm in the summer here in Atlanta. I bought a towel fairly close to the color of my interior, cut holes for the posts in one end and it works well enough.

So, moral is get the color you like the most, but the perfed sensatec seems most appropriate if you are in a hot climate.

Good to know it does clean up well. If I can get away with just keeping some leather wipes in my car that's good enough for me.

The towel's not a bad idea, but at that rate I'd probably just fork out for some quality seat covers, but I'm not really trying to cover my fancy interior either. I'm also in the opposite of a hot climate, I'm in Michigan's UP where it's snow six months of the year, and the few and far between days where the leather would get too hot are pretty easily mitigated with a sunshade.

Thanks for the input!
