Suspension issues?

Enclosed are a few pics of my suspension on my 2011 328xi
Only 37k miles on this E90, I am a new owner in the past month.

Note: rear- torn boots on both sides
Front - cracking below strut?

Car drives great, how much should I be concerned about these issues?

BMW Bellevue (Washington) did an alignment just prior to purchase, they would not miss this.

Bump
How concerning are these bump stops?
Can this wait a year? Or immediate replacement needed?

I think the risk you run on the rear is getting dirt in there which might lead to premature shock failure (damage to seals). They’re not too hard to change and parts are cheap. Not an emergency, but I’d do it when you can.

The front - is that really a crack? Might just be a casting mark. Compare to the other side. If it’s really a crack, I wouldn’t wait on that.

And yes the dealership could 100% miss these issues, especially if the tech is just focused on alignment.

Piece of advice when you do replace the rear, replace the top shock mounts and lower shock mount along with the bump stop and shock.

Bump stops are in place to aid with shock bottoming out on full compression.

Front is a casting mark.

Looks like normal aging stock suspension. They will need replacement in the near future but it’s certainly not going to hurt anything to drive. Bump stops and boots are cracking a bit and the shocks will likely be leaking soon after. Budget for a full replacement in the next year or so and you’ll be just fine.

Just goes to show - age and mileage both affect rubber parts on a car. My e91 had about 125k miles on it when I got it, and the bump stops looked similar.

As others have said - front is a casting mark, rear won't do significant harm short term but budget to replace everything when you do get them replaced.

Thanks all.
I will keep an eye on the suspension.
Will replace when budget allows a suspension refresh. If the bump stops deteriorate quickly I may have to glue in temporary replacements.
