Racechip Black advice

I need advice for removing the t-map sensor for my m240i. I tried pulling the white clip back then pressing down and pulling and that thing is stuck in there. I even yanked the damn white clip off (got it back in) but I am STRUGGLING. This was supposed to be a 10 minute install. Please help

Update: i used a small flat head to pry the top of it up a bit to pull off the plug easily.
