Swissvax'ed: A mysterious shine on a Porsche Boxster. Perfection.
Porsche Boxster
Prepared using mostly Swissvax products and Finished with Swissvax Mystery Wax. This vehicle was involved in an accident, where an 18-wheeler didn't see the Porsche Boxter to it's right, and proceeded into the right lane, crisghing the entire driver's side of the porsche and unfortunately leaving the driver with a few injuries. The vehicle was taken to a local body shop, Countach, known for their superb paint and body work on many exotic and high-dollar vehicles in Miami. These guys deal with Celebrities and Heavy Hitters all day long. Nevertheless, after the vehicle was released to the owner and brought home, the owner was not happy at all with the results he saw. Here's how the car looked after the body shop's "Detailing". After having the body shop initialy detail the car, the owner was not happy at all. He brought the car back to the bodyshop and they had brought in an outside "Detailer" to fix the problem. After the problem only got worse, the owner and body shop both agreed to have the car Swissvax'ed, by none other than Myself. Here's how I received the car at the body shop: To begin the wash, i decided to start with properly cleaning the convertible textile top. I decided to apply 1Z Blitz and gently agitate the entire surface using the Swissvax Detail Brush. Following the convertible top, I proceeded to clean all the body crevices, Rubber Seals, and hard-to-reach areas using P21s Total Auto Wash and a Swissvax Detail Brush. Thereafter, I washed the car using Swissvax Car Bath and a Swissvax Waschpudel. Following the wash process, I drive the car over to the bay inside the bodyshop that i had setup my equipment, only to find another car in the spot, with guys working on it. I spoke to the bodyshop and owner of the car and decided it was best if I could take the car back to my garage, which was about a 5 minute drive from the bodyshop; both agreed and i brought the car back. Upon arriving at my garage, I gave the car another quick wash with Swissvax Car Bath. Following the second wash, I went on to feeding all of the rubber seals and trim with Swissvax Seal Feed. Before application of Seal Feed Following Seal Feed, I treated the textile top to two coats of Swissvax Lotos Protectant. This protectant is the absolute best and can protect for up to a year! Next, I clayed the car using Pinnacle Fine detailing Clay Here's how the paint looked up-close Some overspray on the rear window, easily removed. I polished the paint using the Festool Shinex RAP150 polisher, with a Swissvax backing plate, Swissvax white FINE medium size Polishing pad and Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Professional. This removed all of the imperfections left behind by the previous detailers, and left the paint with a perfect, incredibly glossy finish. We finished the job with Swissvax Mystery wax The Interior also got a full Cleansing and protection treatment using Swissvax interior products. Before: After: The finished result! Enjoy the pics! The jambs were all finished with Swissvax Nano Express Wheels were treated with Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular and Autobahn Wax. Tires with Pneu Glossy. The owner was blown away with the work done to this car, and took it upon himself to write this very much appreciated write-up about Scheer Signature Detailing. Here's the writeup: The Value of a Professional Detailer Here's a full list of all the products used: Products: -P21s TAW -1Z Blitz -1Z W99 -1Z Windscreen -Sonax Full Effect -#0000 Steel Wool Swissvax: -Car Bath -Protecton -Seal Feed -Paint Rubber (Green) -Quick Finish -Cleaner Fluid Professional via FESTOOL with a white Swissvax FINE pad -Mystery Wax -Nano Express -Cleaner Fluid Regular -Autobahn PTFE Wax (Wheels) -Pneu Glossy -Waschpudel -Black Puck Applicator -Black wax applicator -Micro-Absorb (Red) -Micro-Polish (Blue) -Micro-Fluffy -Pneu Brush -Detail Brush -Wheel Brush -Metal Polish -Lotos Protectant Interior: -SV Leather Cleaner Forte -Swissvax Leather Milk -Swissvax Plastic Wash -Swissvax Protecton Matt -Swissvax Quick Interior Finish -Swissvax Crystal That's all for that one.
