when is 230i xdrive coming out????

everything i've seen said the variant will "follow" after

how long is follow? will it come as a 2022 model, 2 months after? or as a 2023 one year after?

kind of strange i'm not seeing anything on this online.

perfect. thanks. guess my searching skills are getting to be sub-par

the doc says "New instrument panel for all models" in 8/22. i assume this is the idrive 8/single curved screen that is coming in LCI g20?

8/22 sounds like a 2023 model. i'm not hot on the single curved screen, but i wonder if the electronics that come with that will include more sophisticated self-driving/safety/avoidance software

if the screen is changed after only one MY, a lot will be upset, including me.
should i wait for MY23?

I would actually think there will be plenty of folks that dislike the new screen, as it seems like the climate controls are all moving into the touch screen (ew).

To me the "old" idrive 7 setup is a selling point.

Correct, the MY 2023 models will get iDrive 8.

Why wouldn't they wait for the LCI to introduce Drive 8 and a new dashboard? Or just introduce it w/ID8 from the start? Personally, I'd rather have ID7, so I'm happy.

I see that the 230i xdrive was listed on the 2023 pricing guide . Hopefully gets announced soon.

Just stopped by the dealer today, and they offered me their allocation for a 2023 230i x-drive that will go into production shortly (assuming in July). I opted to order a 2023 M240i, and for that I will have to wait...
