Opinion: Carbon fiber front lip or no?
I need your opinions.
I'm on the fence about this one. I found someone local that can repaint my aero lip (lots of rock chips from freeway) for $140. My car currently: However, I really love the look of the carbon fiber aero lip. I just can't find too many pictures of it on the space gray. The nicest one and most affordable one is from ECS Tuning: http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E92-335...ber/ES1895235/ If I were to get it, I don't know if it'd be cool to leave it as is, or have the mid-section (or "V") painted to match the color of car. Something like this: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=466539 What do you guys think? Vote on poll Lol, does this count guys? CF rear diffuser & CF roof spoiler. Car looks clean as is! If you add the CF front lip Id suggest adding other CF accents as well.

I'm thinking of getting a CF splitter myself, if only to protect my front end more from those stupid scrapes
IMO if you're going to go CF, make sure it isn't the only CF part on your car. Consider a trunk spoiler, or mirror caps. PS I love the wheels man. *EDIT* damn Bartles- great minds! |

Yep, once you go CF you cant stop. Must get mirror caps, trunk spoiler, and rear diffuser Ah, reminds me of my 135

Agree with everyone else's opinion. Just the CF lip w/o other accents is kinda meh.

Agree with this the most. Just the lip alone will look kinda meh at first, but if you're going to follow it up with more it will look sweet. If i had extra money for it i'd totally do it. Need some wheels doe!

Definitely do not do it with that lip. In my opinion, it will just draw attention to the fact that it is an add on and not moulded onto the car. As it is now, painted the same body color, it is less obvious. I have the same color car and the same lip spoiler, and I think it looks good as is.

Car looks great as is IMO. I'd have it re-shot.

Wow between this thread and my Cali one, the total of members voting for the 1st option are 23 people vs 2 for each of the other 2 polls.
Hmm...guess I'll be painting it instead. |
