Paintless Dent Repair or PDR really works?
Do you think that Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) really works for dings and dents?
I have seen this site and it is amazing, but I have never try it on any car: http://www.dentwizard.com/ It could be great that you post experiences with companies that make this work. |

I take it to a guy who did PDR on the BMW assembly line before moving here and doing PDR. He is amazing - can't tell if there ever was a dent there.
From what I know if the dent is not on a sheet metal crease line then they can take it out with PDR. Also really depends on the individual doing the PDR, his experience, and his expertise. |

My dealer contract with people who do PDR... I had them do a few on my 745Li due to my careless car park neighbors... Looks like new, I can't see any sign of the dent.
Don't ever try those ones you see on TV informercials...those DON'T WORK! |

If you don't have any paint damage the paintless dent wizards / repairs are usually very good on getting it out. Just make sure you get some recommendations or references on who does a good job in your area.

Guys, there is a dent wizard company in town and they have a representatives at one of the BMW dealer. I spoke to the rep and I asked him how they are able to fix a dent. It depends on the dent and the location. What he told me is that they do it from the inside of the sheet metal. For example, if you have a dent on the door, they will remove the interior padding of your door and they have a machine that just applied pressure from inside to outside. It like a press machine where pressure is applied on one side.

Guys- used to race with the smart SOB that patented tools for the paintless ding repair (he did well). They're a series of lever rods that are inserted which push the dent out from behind. In the hands of 90% of the paintless repair guys, it is just magic to watch them work. For about 100 bucks annually, somebody will take care of my cars and you'll never know there was a dent there unless the paint was compromised. Very amazing (wish I would have thought of it).

Here in the houston area the best guy I have ever seen is a guy by the name of Chad he owns a company called Dent Dogs... He truly is a magician, I have watched him do several jobs and I cant tell there was ever a dent! If you get a door ding in the Houston area give him a call he is mobile so he will come to you or meet you just about anywhere!

Paintless dent repair works okay, it depends a lot on the repaier, my guy that I go to, done it on serveral car already, he is an expert he can fixed lost of things including rebuilding creased lines. I had a 03 corolla hatch.
Its queter panel was kick in by some ashole, the dent was a size of a foot across the creased line, he fxed it with no probelm, you can't even tell it was done. If you look real hard, he has to buffed the paint back a bit caused of work done on the metal base (so the paint looked flatter) and there was micro refelection on the border of where the flat panel got creased, but the original body creased (panel profile) was build up perfectly! I was the best outcome for the disaster!!! I hate having the car respray, thus not have original paint work on the car. I had 10c and 20 cents dings removed without any marks what so ever, it was a walk in the park for this guy. Yes I said the paintless dent repair works well.

Holy dead thread resurrection! You really should be banned from posting. Odds are he doesn’t even own the car anymore.
