Tasman green
Since the "by color" thread ignores A81 Tasman green... Here are a few shots of mine. Cosmetic mods: Apex EC-7 "aggressive fitment" wheels in anthracite, tinted taillights, gloss black trunk and chin spoilers, gloss black grille, shadowline window trim, window tint.
I took pictures in a couple different lighting situations to get a feel for the color. Overall, it's a subtle color, but I like it. |

My 2009 335i 6mt. Was originally an Oyster interior but I’ve done a full Saddle conversion now.

IF this was a Porsche, this would be one of those rare not PTS colours people would pay stupid premiums over now. Very nice. Keep it in good health!

I have an A81 colored 2011 335xi, 6-speed manual, with saddle leather brown interior. Had almost every factory option except the sport seats and Harmon Kardon sound system. I've also had the PPK tune installed and the M-Performance exhaust (well, I did the PE mod). Has all VRSF charge pipes and turbo outlet, plus a VRSF upgraded 5" intercooler. Wheels are style 340 I believe. Great car @ 85,000mi right now. I hope to keep it for a long time. Last edited by PaulForeman; 09-01-2023 at 09:22 PM.. Reason: Photo fix |

This is an awesome color & I've never seen one hear in California yet. I have a 2011 335i M-Sport & would love to have this color.

I agree with the rarity of the color. People who see it in person tend to appreciate the color.

In the short time I've owned the car, I've had many people ask me "what color is that?" Or "never seen a color like that before." When you buy used cars like me, you just get what you get... Fortunately I got a good color and really like it! |

Nice color! I think it would look a million times better with the tails a little lighter.

A81 E90 Friend
Parked next to this LCI E90 at the coffee shop the other day. It's obviously a 328, not a 335, but still - Maybe the only time this car will ever be parked next to another one in this color!

What style number are those wheels... And what are the specs on them (diameter & width)... ?

Here's my 2011 e91 in Tasman Metallic with Saddle Brown interior I just picked up yesterday. I've wanted a BMW wagon for as long as I can remember (I've had an e36 325i and M3, an e39 M5, and currently have an e46 M3). I recently bought a WRX Wagon for daily driver dad duties and sold it 2 months later when I realized Subarus weren't for me. I started a search for an e91 and was about to pull the trigger on a 2007 when I heard through the grapevine that my friend of 20+ years was selling hers with 108k miles. It was originally her mothers before she took ownership so I know both previous owners well. She just wanted it gone so sold it to me for what the carvana offer was...and in one of my favorite color combos.
As the wallet cools down I'll look to add some (minor) window tint, new wheels a sport steering wheel, and if the stars align some sport seats. Going to make for an epic daily for hauling the kids. |
