Haven’t done anything to mine yet ( the Mrs keeps taking it to work with her)
Was just going to change rear spoiler and lower it at some point.
Was in Stirling last week with mine , still haven’t seen any others on the road yet apart from dealer demos…

Bet you can’t wait for yours to arrive. I’m really impressed with how good the car drives, especially on the country roads, it feels like it’s on rails, the xdrive keeps it well planted when thrashing it on the bends

😂 I've already got spacers/carbon spoiler and think I'll pull the trigger on the 20mm springs from Motech. I've also tracked down a K&N filter to.

The wife will hit the roof to be fair but it's better to ask for forgiveness than permission 😉.

Once mine arrives we should meet up if your in Stirling, even just for a squint at the mods up close

Ordered my G42 M240i today:

I went into the dealership minded to go for Portimao Blue. But as soon as I walked into the showroom I saw their M240i looking positively majestic in Brooklyn Grey with the Pro Pack's bicolour alloys and shadowline finish. The black and grey contrast so well and the red calipers set it off perfectly. I'm test driving a Portimao M240i next weekend, so may well amend the colour to blue after I've seen it in the flesh.

I've always been pretty agnostic about the design - neither loved it or hated it. But, seeing an M240i in person for the first time today, I can honestly say it blew me away. Such an aggressive, low-slung stance with big, wide haunches at the back. I haven't seen a photograph that captures its true stature - and trust me I've seen hundreds of photos of the M240i now! The F22 isn't a patch on the G42 in my humble opinion.

I was 50/50 about the sunroof. Less weight or more light? In the end I decided more light would suit me better. I'm not a track driver.

I've been told to expect a 2023 Q1 delivery time, hopefully coinciding with my birthday in early February - fingers crossed!

That's what I'm getting from Genius to mate, but my dealers system says otherwise and to forget Genius, it'll be here this month. End of this month or start of next pickup 🤞🏼🙏🏼

I seen my first one yesterday while driving to work. Was thundernight with the pro pack and same alloys I've ordered. It's just made me more impatient to receive mine. Looks a lot better in the flesh

I think yours and mine are similar build/delivery dates. What does Bimmer.work say was your build date? Mine was 4th Feb. Stil has the HUD and the only delete I can see is 6P1 Wi-fi Functions, Temporary Deletion & Preparation For Remote Software Upgrade

Yip pretty much mate, same build date. Mine departed plant 4th April. It's already been to Germany and on route to the UK.

My dealer is expecting the car inside the next two weeks with me in the car at the end of the month
