2008 e90 335xi Suspension maintenance
I live in the Northeast, the car is 16 years old, 183k miles with plenty of original suspension parts.
I would like to go ahead and replace everything that a 183k mile 16yo car that’s been driven in northeast winters needs… Any suggestions on where to start? Buy kits from fcp? Thanks everyone |

I'm a big Bilstein fan and have B4's on most of my BMWs. FCP sells them, and also sells the complete kit of the other parts needed to install shocks and struts, assuming you use your current springs.
But you need to get under the car to see what else might need replacement. Front control arms come to mind. There are other people here that are smarter about those pieces than am I. Don't forget to get an alignment once everything has been refreshed. |
