2A87 Exhaust Vanos

I got this code recently under WOT (heavy boost) i swapped my solenoids And the code remains the same. Is it safe to rule out the solenoids themselfs? Should i chase down a o2?

If the code doesn't go away after trying new solenoids, oil change/filter, and sensors then most likely it is the cam ledge bearing.

Try cleaning the filters for the vanos solenoids. If you search here or youtube you'll find some good diy's on how to do it.

Has cleaning those filters actually resolved the issue for anyone?
