Side view is to me the by-far best view. Front is growing on me, but still wish BMW did dual angel eyes; round ones not required & frankly, were getting a bit stale.

The butt-end is butt-ugly. I'd have to paint that valance body color soon as I took delivery - preferably before. LOL

I actually like the super-modern interior - huge upgrade it seems. THe seat are awesome. Looks very fancy & well-made. And finally seeing technology replace analog anything, I am all for it. Love analog gauges & all, but done right, digital dashes look great.

That said, I would have rather seen all of that SCREEEEEEEEEEEN space be better integrated into the dash instead of that tacked-on look. Plus it is gonna be way to distracting. That is a lot of lit-up real estate!

And that color - oof. That is not a color made for an M2. A minivan or VW Beetle maybe. I don't understand why there are so few color options for the M2, and what we get is basic blah.

Interesting, in the photo in post #24 the protective grid runs all the way up to the top of the radiator as visible through the kidneys. In the photos recently posted above it only has partial coverage.

I took another photo besides the leaf one and it seems you can see the top bar of the plastic cover. It must not be full height. So I think it is 5 squares high. Your photo that seems to show full height is only the first 4 squares high.

Note the lower portion of the kidneys, the protective grid is present. One would suspect that the grid is covering the entire radiator in this photo versus just the lower portion in your photos.

Two pieces. Upper and lower might make it easier to remove?

I'm still glad I placed an order for the M240i XDrive. Just something about the M2 that doesn't do it for me. Can't put my finger on it.

Saw the car in person.
The interior is fantastic and high quality.
Love the widescreen display, high resolution and doesn't obstruct the view of the windshield.
Carbon buckets fit like a glove.
Manual shifter rubbery and vague - get the automatic instead.
The exterior is ok, but very alien to traditional bmw design language, if the car was an EV it would make sense.
Darker colors would definitely suit the car better.
It's chunky everywhere but all the hardware is legit
I think the price point is just right for what you're getting

Zunsport will have covers as fast possible. I have them on my F87 M2C and the perform and look great.

Chris good to see you in the G87 side. Are you ordering one?
Unfortunately not this time around. I just can't get past a few issues with BMW's design language. I'll hang out every now and then.

Those these seats in a F87 M2 and call it a day. I think the rear is ok but that front just like the G80/82 still going to take some time to get used to.

I hated the new G series grills when they came out, way too big, now I am waiting on my new 430i to arrive and love the big kidneys.

It looks like BMW hired a Dodge engineer, definitely a new, edgier design, will probably grow on me as time goes by.
