Im Screwed
So i posted on this board about my DCI rubbing concerns a few days ago, fixed it today and it now only sits besides the plastic cover that used to hold the stock air box.
Problem is my Flathead screwdriver fell on the engine bay. It was initially caught between the battery wires but it fell ALL the way down to god knows where in my engine bay, spent 2 hours trying to find it my 100F California garage and gave up. So is it safe just to leave the Flathead down there? will it eventually fall off? its one of those short fat ones with the plastic grip. Arrggghhh... pissing me off knowing something is in my engine bay thats not suppose to be there.

Lol, you can look on the ground. Just jack the car up and unbolt the paneling, its not that hard. If you are tooling around in your engine bay I imagine you have all the equipment necessary.

I dropped alot of stuff and a couple of bolts from the underpanel and the object is retrieved...Very easy...Just as long as the object or tool is not hitting any moving parts ex belts, pulleys you should be fine even if you dont get it out!

I do this alot. One of those magnetic wands from autozone, 8$ will help you retrieve this. I keep one with the car at all times. Just go fising for it. If this doesn't work, just remove the screws on the back side of the belly pan on the driver side. This should allow you enough room to pry it open and reach your hand in there and grab it.
Good luck

Just get under the car and start banging on the bellypan until you hear something come back down and you know where it is. That's what I always do.

I bet its still sitting under the car on the belly pan. I dropped some screws before which I never got out until I did my downpipe install and they were sitting in the belly pan.

Act like it never happened, forget about it!
Stop being such a girl! Take the panels off and get the damn thing! As long as this thread has been opened you could be done with a screwdriver back in its rightful place in the tool box.
