Spoke with the BMW Genius' this morning. My M2 should be on a truck by 3/20 headed to the dealership. The ship got in several hours later than expected, or else it would have been delivered this afternoon. So close!!

My status just flipped from "In Transit" back to "At the port!", just as predicted.

At the risk of jinxing it, I'm really impressed with how quickly it went from production to making it to the destination port. The final QC was on Feb 27th, so it's only taken 16 days to make it to Port Hueneme.

It should be just a few more days until it arrives at my dealership!

Unfortunately, I'm traveling to San Francisco for work between Monday and Thursday next week. So it's almost certain I'll have to wait until next Friday to pick up the keys regardless of how quickly it gets to Phoenix.

On the plus side, that means that, regardless of potential delays, you're almost guaranteed to have a car to pick up when you get back! 😁

Nope, its been delayed enough because of the buckets. Hoping there are no more delays at the port.

Got it. Luckily, I haven't been hearing anyone saying a port-installed item caused any delays.

But it's irrelevant for you!

I'm sure you're counting down the days!

Picked up my 2024 G87 yesterday. After months of waiting and delays with production (no one’s fault but it sucked lol), it was more than worth it in the end. Delivery day was amazing at the dealer and with my CA. When I saw my car in person for the first time I couldn’t believe how good it looked. The performance suspension makes the stance look so good right off the bat. And I love the CF inlet with CF roof combo. Someone in an X6M did a double take when I passed them on the road and pulled up next to me lol. Such a good looking car and it just pulls and pulls even pre break in. Worthwhile upgrade over the og F87. Bravo BMW

That was definitely me. Especially seeing someone else pick up their car after being on the same ship, and me not knowing where the car actually was and any reliable updates for an extra week. Still no explanation except that "bigger" dealerships in larger markets took priority on transport from port to dealership.

I believe it's listed as "M Performance HAS" or something like that. So both are correct?

Yep it’s just MP HAS. On the sticker it shows up as Performance Suspension. Super happy with it! Personally don’t feel the need to get spacers or make it even lower.

My car is on a truck.. CA can see the company, calling to get the driver info for a more detailed ETA. System ETA says arrival of 3/23 -- site still says at port.

Nice!! Still waiting on my end for news. I called BMW Genius' and they told me it had been assigned to a carrier but that was all they could see. They didn't know if it had left the port or was still waiting to be picked up.

Call your dealership, they seemed to have more info than the hotline, for once.

Here are some pics of my car with the MP HAS kit. Next up is wheel spacers to flush things up a bit.

CA confirmed it was assigned to a carrier and believes it should be on a truck, even though status hasn't changed. He is estimating a 3/20 delivery. The 7 month wait is coming to an end!
