It's not its own thing yet. It's only a subforum of the G42 at this point. Go choose the F87 Forum and you'll see the difference

To be fair if you go look at the old M2C threads the complaints where the price increase over the OG M2, the grill and wheels, but you where getting so many upgrades (seats, mirrors, engine, etc) that it got an automatic pass. The OG M2 got crap for using the N55 and lack of M mirors and such.

Performance wise, I'm sure the reviews will be very positive like the G80. I'm really trying, but I still can't get behind the G80 design. I'm going to give the G87 some time.

Anyway, we'll see when the official specs come out. I'll be happy to admit I'm wrong if the numbers say so.

I was wrong. The M2 is 49mm wider than the G42, so the wheel arches are extended by 25mm per side, or less than 1 inch. It's not as obvious a difference as on the previous model but the M2 is wider. Pretty much the only subtle change on the M2 :-) .
